The cords your playing on the left screen they look like boxes your highlighting is that in reason I've never seen that before. To do your drum rolls are you arpeggiating them? Thank you for the video there the best !!!!
Yooo Tee, what is the name of that program for the chords...... I need that in my life that will help out with my circle of 4ths/5ths charts. Nice video as usual.
I hear u Tee. I've been doing a lot of the same thing lately. Really experimenting with no quantize and different quantize percentages, etc.. Something I like to do when quantizing is to change the quantize percentage every time I change the sound I'm going to record. Gives it a human error feel too. For instance, record the snare at 1/16 and 25% and then record a hi hat at 1/8 and maybe 10%. Stuff like that... Catch ya later.
Good info Big T I love to see the outtakes its the real deal of writing music in the natural and trying to teach yourself at the same time big ups fam SALUTE!!!!! and Thank You!!!
damn blaq dis beat is blowin my mind!!!! i cop tha elite beatmaker kit from yo site. it mad hot yo. got a question 4 ya wus da name of the other program u had up on the screen, tha u could c wha note u wanted to play thx.....
Oh ok. I see what you were doing. You were just setting the lines so you could see where you were once you started sliding the notes over. If I were a beginner though I probably would have thought that was the place where I actually set my real time quantization ya know what I mean??? Feel what you were doing though. Use that technique a lot myself.
Tee. Check it out. I maybe wrong but I think you're using the quantize wrong. I saw you do this back in the day too but I didn't know much about Reason back then. But on this tutoring around 7:00 minutes or so..
Right at the beginning when your adding the kick and snare, you change the snap to 1/16 I think. To my knowledge from experience, that isn't where you set your quantize. You set your quantize type using the tool bar which I rarely see you use. Usually displayed on the right side
Bro, fuck that. This was a damn good tutorial man. You know your shit. Lovin' this. Diggin' your groove.

How did you make it so you can trigger snare roll

The music industry is always way behind what producers and writers are doing. I've always used strings and things in my tracks.

Meant to say pretty sure pertains

Just hit 'show tool window' and it'll pop up. This is where I use my quantize. What you're changing I'm pretty pertains to editing after the fact.

@mastamnd I've been using less quantize in my latest sessions, for a more human and natural feel...
