  • When one person suffers from a delusion, it is called insanity. When many people suffer from a delusion it is called Religion...

In the Old Testament, God was a proper judgemental nasty pasty. If he were still around now, he'd have probably gave you a good spanking for your apostrophes. Be grateful you have a life and stop Godding about looking for another one, init.

  • How the hell do you prove something fabricated by man?

  • You are saying that because science cannot explain where the universe originated, God is the only answer. That is an argument from ignorance. Just because you can't come up with any other solution, God fills that ignorance. God is not supported by credible evidence, (which the modern scientific theories are), and is an easy way to dismiss difficult problems. Science is constantly searching for a better more accurate conclusion, that is why it should be accepted as the best explanation.

  • Universe is, im sure we could put a number on it but it would jsut be so alrge there is no way that we could make anything useful of that information, the number alone would probably fill every peice of paper on this planet and youd probably need more.

  • Faith is "A strong belief in something the tenets of which are unprovable."

  • Hey - WTF is with the gay parade clip in the middle of the twin towers & starving children all about? It's precisely that kind of religious intolerance that led to 9/11 in the first place! Tell us - do you need a God to justify your bigotry? Is that why we're being regaled with this fatuously vapid video pap-smear?

  • I'm disappointed this vid doesn't prove anything.

the argument of a 'finely tuned universe' argument is already repeatedly debunked by others, so I don't have to waste time on that.

However, all inequality and suffering are beyond God. The bible itself gives enough insight in God's behaviour to state that he could and would intervene is he had best interests.

Starting with punishment of adam, eve, kain, torturing Job, and the Pharao...

(thats just the first few chapters I actually read yet.)

  • "Inequality and suffering is the result of living apart from god and his laws"

I was laughing with the vid but that one line caused me to slip off my chair and evolved my lol to rofl. Thank you.

Also, check the 'Dark Ages' and see the equality and peace your God gave us when we had theocracy which is the most religious state a public control system can reach. And, look how peaceful all the extremely fundamentalists are which are almost all of them homophobic racist assholes or suicide bombers.

  • @Razgrits

Oh I get it... so, you are saying that it's alright if people lie, steal, kill, covet, hate, treat children with disrespect, and dishonor parents. Also, loving one's neight is no big deal, nor is caring for people that are hurting. Oh, and by the way, I can't help what people did in the dark-ages... you know, the people in authority that used subordinates to carry out their own agendas, while using the God's word to cause a sense of fear.

  • @Physcimaniac31 No, you don't get it. The god's 'word' is being used the very same way now, but because of our society progressing towards a more secular way, the churches power has become weaker, and it should be even more weak. If you want to believe in something, none will stop you, but pushing things like creationism in classes and denying knowledge which science has gathered over years of research IS a problem, especially with the fundamentalists.

  • @Razgrits

Again, this falls under the same premise as above: people using religion for their own purposes. God, nor devout/sincere Christians, are at fault for what others do under the umbrella of religion. In regards to secularism, we are approaching an apex in human history that may be its downfall. You, nor I, can assume secularism is better for society because the vast number of societies, throughout history, have paid homage to some sort of diety. You must have a strong "faith".

  • @Physcimaniac31 How nice it was when Bush said that GOD wants you to attack Iraq? How many good Christians and Patriotic Americans joined in not because of Bush, but because 'God said it'. Somehow, through Bush. As retarded as it sounds, people were moved by that. Also, all these 'rules' your so called God placed, existed long before to the more developed countries(i.e. Greece). Greeks even treated their slaves ALMOST as citizens. But Christianity was their downfall, if you know some history.

  • @Razgrits

I'm not going to play games of education level because I dont know your history, education level, bias, or background. In any attempt to gather such knowledge, you could simply.... lie! However, in regards to your Greek comment, that culture was heavily influenced by religion... as most were in that time period. Also, the Greek culture does not predate the Hebrew culture upon which the "Ten Commandments" were built/founded. Also, the Hebrew culture treateds slaves as hired help

  • @Physcimaniac31 Uh- you are a bit wrong there. Hebrews were killing off their slaves like livestock, until Christianity kicked in and gave specific instructions(i.e. beat your slave until an inch of his life but don't kill them), to be so specific about death, it could only mean death of slaves was something not so uncommon. Also, yes, all cultures have been affected by the religions that blossomed around their area, it's natural. And let me add one more thing:

  • @Physcimaniac31 About the ten commandments, you can't really say Hebrews are aliens who had no contact with Greeks at all. Or their culture. Humans are social animals, their survival instincts want them to help each other so they can survive, and if they find something that works better than beating another human to death to get what you want, they'll prefer that method. Greeks figured it first, then Hebrews followed. It's not really hard to comprehend, and it makes a lot more sense than magic.

  • it sounds like your a cretionist seeing a few of your "points" remember IF THERE WAS A CREATOR AND THE WHOLE STRONG FORCE THING SOMETHING MUSTVE CREATED THAT STRONG FORCE YOUR JUST DIGGING YOURSELF A HOLE

  • @bdixon401

No... not really, it's asking you to use some common sense and ask yourself where did the order and laws come from... all of which had to be in place at the moment of creation. That's it, not really a hard concept. You know, why don't lazy people get off their asses and start asking some of these questions and research stuff for yourself, instead of rehashing the same old arguments: "well, if God created the universe, then who created God?" Like I haven't heard that one before.

  • @Physcimaniac31 "it's asking you to use some common sense and ask yourself" You know, common sense NEVER made a scientific breakthrough, common sense didn't give us the theory of relativity nor explained how lightning works.

"why don't lazy people get off their asses and start asking some of these questions and research"

By research you mean what? Go to creationist sites? If you want to actually research, go at a university and educate yourself, then start to actually researching.

  • @Physcimaniac31 "instead of rehashing the same old arguments"

It's funny how you never reply to that argument though- or the best reply creationists can come back with is 'magic', that the creator didn't need to be created. Which is a mere assumption based on man-made scripture and which offers no answers at all. Let me lay down the facts yet again. Creation didn't help make vaccines, or helped in evolutionary algorithms on computers, nor offers any satisfying answer and makes MANY assumptions>>

  • @Physcimaniac31 >>also, it cannot be proven or disproved. For something to be a theory, it needs to be able to be disproved. In the case of evolution, I am a bit unsure about your stand on it, since you seem to believe it, so I guess you are one of those God-guided evolutionists. I don't mind you people at all, whatever makes it easy for you to sleep. But please, don't go around saying PROOF THAT GOD EXISTS and expect not to be debated since you make mare assumptions.

  • @Physcimaniac31 The fact that every physical value was set at the big bang doesn't mean this place is fine tuned or anything. It just means it happened this way and that's why we are here to argue about it. Why it happened this way is a pointless argument to make at this time since we can't determine how with the instruments and knowledge we have. But as you have seen the past 200 years, science progresses, faster and faster, look at the computers for example. Patience is a virtue.

  • @Physcimaniac31 well how do you know this order must have been all in place at the moment of creation, what if that over a very long period of time these laws and orders slowly developed and came into existance, the way our planets in our solar system orbit the sun is very similarly laid out to how you explain electromagnetic coupling, the size of the universe you put I would say could not possibly be accurate as we just cannot possibly get an anywhere near accurate reading to just how large the

  • Your nutty, read revelation. Tell me how a bunch of bronze aged nomads could so accurately describe the world "today." Prediction by others always fall flat at some point, most avoid making them,... scripture doesn't make those mistakes, if it was written it will and is happening. ~Cheers

  • @DanieljDixon Every twenty years or so people say revelations is coming true. I can remember when credits cards came out people pointed to that as a sign of the end of days. I'm not saying I know the truth of it, but how many times can a scripture cry wolf?

  • @AkrayBothorda Until the wolf actually arrives. His footprints are now all around us. Those footprints weren't nearly as clear as they are today.

  • @DanieljDixon They were clear at the dawn of year 1000 AD. At least clear enough that many powerful people surrendered their wealth and gathered in churches and cathedrals to await the end of days. I wonder if these pious people tried to get their money back from the people they had given it to as a bribe for salvation.

  • @AkrayBothorda It sounds like your associating Christians with the Catholic Church. Christianity and Catholicism are like apples and oranges.

One reason why I love scripture, it's the only book that makes no effort to glorify those they wrote about, nor does it make any effort to make things believable to its readers. Its just transcript. It makes predictions which is always a big risk in writing, Nostradamus himself was hit and miss. Bible prophecies are always dead on.

  • If you ever wondered what all the God hatred is all about on youtube in our schools etc... well the polygay says there is no God. Does that surprise anyone? They are at war with God because in their mind it's either God or their "lifestyle." There is only room in this world for one and God has to go. :o) Well anyway expect them to continue fighting, undermining, blaspheming, and targeting our impressional youth with their anti God/Christianity propaganda here on YT. They see much on the line.

  • @DanieljDixon Yes, because obviously atheists hate God, just like theists hate the Goblin King. Your disbelief in the Goblin King is clearly a rebellion against him. Why do you hate the Goblin King? Clearly in your mind it's either your "lifestyle" or the Goblin King. There is no other reason why you wouldnt believe the Goblin King exists. You're at war with the GK and this Christian propaganda is just proof that you aim to destroy him.

Sounds ridiculous, don't it? Sounds like you.

  • @viridismonasteriense Yeah you do sound ridiculous!

  • @DanieljDixon Which only proves my point unless you're deliberately lying or indeed extremely deluded. Either option would not surprise me.

  • @viridismonasteriense How conveniently you fail to include the other option, which is: Or I am right! I don't struggle with this truth. Good luck sorting things.

  • @DanieljDixon What truth? That there's not a single sane human that believes in the Goblin King and therefore cannot hate, fight undermine, target or blaspheme such a being? Yes, that is truth. Now if you can find out why that is, you might accidentally educate yourself and you wouldn't want that now, would you?

  • @viridismonasteriense You reek with insecurity about the subject of God, as you should. Much is at stake, and your subconscious knows it. If you really thought God was not real you wouldn't give it much care or concern, how often do you go on about the tooth fairy, or Santa? You know those aren't real, but God eats at your soul. Read revelation carefully and tell me that its all nonsense. :D

  • @DanieljDixon "how often do you go on about the tooth fairy, or Santa? "

There are no people preaching the word of the tooth fairy and condemning everyone who doesn't believe the tooth fairy to exist to an eternal fire. If there were, you would be fighting them just as hard as me. We would be brothers in arms. But no, you would make us enemies because your invisible sky daddy says we should be. No, it is you who reek with insecurity, terrified of the thought of anyone not believing like you.

  • @DanieljDixon "Read revelation carefully and tell me that its all nonsense"

    It's all nonsense. ESPECIALLY revelations.

  • @DanieljDixon Take your threats of hell and Pascal's Wager and shove them up your ass.

You know your God isn't real. Your subconscious knows it. Why else would you go to a hospital when you're sick? Instead of putting your life in the hands of God you put your life in the hands of doctors. Hypocrite.

Your hell does not scare me just as the Greek Tartarus does not scare you.

Rejoice for the petty megalomaniacal tyrant that is Yahwe of the Old Testament is fictional! Spread the news!

  • @viridismonasteriense As I said, you are struggling, as you should. God will not let you down, others in life will, but your Lord will be there for you my friend until your last breathe. ~Cheers

  • @DanieljDixon The Goblin King will not let you down, others in life will, but your King will be there for you my friend until your last breath.

That's how you sound like to me. That's been my point all along. Until you give me a reason to believe this God isn't a fictional character dreamed up by a bunch of Bronze Age superstitious desert nomads who thought killing two pigeons cured leprosy and that the sun revolved around the Earth you're just another deluded Goblin King worshipper.Cheers.

  • I like how in your video you show footage from a gay pride festival, I know most Christians are against homosexuality, your video is invalid.

  • I don't see any proof in your video.

  • @ShaolinSoldier So it wasn't just me, eh? :D

  • The Greeks had all these things as well (evil, wars, nature "red in tooth and claw"), and they believed in Zeus, who, in all honesty, came from a cosmology which MUCH better explained why the universe was violent and people so bad to each other. And they came first, so I see this video as proof of Zeus!!!

(and Pallas Athene 'cuz I think she's hot)

  • This fails.

  • If living apart from God causes evil? Cruelty has been around a lot longer that humanity. Were trilobites living apart from God?

What would the universe have been like without those constants set so nicely? We don't know, but don't go claiming YOU do know.

Dawkin's proposal is supposition, but valid given current evidence. The God hypothesis is not valid given current evidence.

  • FUCK! Just read the OLD testament! If there really is a god, he's evil.

  • I love how for yours social problems, you showed the ambiguous photos of the gay pride parades. If you're going to call something like homosexuality a "problem" at least portray it correctly. Like using clips of dumpy looking middle-aged, middle class women smooching politely on the steps of city hall? Oh right, your little ignorant brain can't handle that possibility, you know, that they're just like you.

  • @mcmeister89 your an evolutionist? if you are or aren't I can prove it is a problem either perspective.

  • @rublab1 I'm a Christian who believes God created the Universe in order for us to evolve. So I'm both.

But as far as homosexuality goes, I'm not talking about it as a "survival of the species" thing, more of a social thing. How does two men kissing each other negatively affect society? Please enlighten me as to how your neighbors sexual practices plays a role in your day to day life?

  • @mcmeister89 You should know this. God made scientific laws, scientific laws and the Bible are interchangeable. "You shall reap what you sow", Newtons 3rd law of motion, for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction. God said two men loving each other or having sexual sins is wrong. Fact: Homosexuals are much more likely to have aids then straight or monogamous people. On the other hand people that fornicate (also against Gods laws), are also going to have a higher chance of aids.

  • @mcmeister89 Not to mention that monogamous people have a rate of aids next to nothing. This is simply what the Bible says and applied to nature. One thing to remember though (as of course I would not insult homosexuals that kiss in public) is, we dislike sin not the sinner. The goal of Christians isn't to bash individuals, its to hopefully help them to accept the Lord into their heart and possibly give up their sin. I hope you can see where im coming from. Thank you, God bless.

  • @rublab1 That's true. Homosexuals do have a higher rate of AIDS compared to heterosexuals, although that statistic is only applicable to homosexual men, not women. In fact, 75% of women who get HIV each year get it through HETEROsexual acts. What do those two statistics have in common? HIV is being transmitted by men in both. The CDC even points out that the ratio of men:women is about 4:1. So, you could say that the defining factor for acquiring HIV is being male, not gay.

  • @mcmeister89 Therefore you can conclude having one sex partner that is heterosexual, and staying monogomous (like the Bible says) is the best choice.

  • @rublab1 Also, you failed to respond to my hypothetical situation. If your neighbor (who you know nothing about) is a lesbian, how does it negatively affect your life?

  • @mcmeister89 hypothetically this doesn't affect me at all, but

    1. I have never had a gay/lesbian neighbor to be involved in this scenario.

And hypothetically an active serial killer living next to you would also have no affect on your life if he stayed out of it. Though they do have affect on other peoples lives.

  • @rublab1 I'm not disagreeing with the fact that monogamy is the safest way to go, but if two homosexuals are monogamous, they have the same chance of obtaining HIV, 0%. Also, since you're stuck on this notion that AIDS and Gay are synonymous, what about people of African descent? The prevalence is also raised in that demographic. Is it harmful to society to be black?

Now, could you explain how homosexuality is hurting society? (Aside from raising stress levels in homophobes.)

  • @mcmeister89 yes I presume Homosexual monogamy would be ok if you are simply trying to not spear HIV/Aids. On the other hand God knew that this was a problem when he commanded against it. It is not just an attraction to men, its an attraction to sex period. They want to have sex, and lots of, any way they can get it. I had a aunt married to a homosexual man that hadn't "come out of the closet", and was acting straight so he could be normal. He had many partners (males) during the marriage.

  • @mcmeister89 and was cheating on her without her knowing. His practices were nasty and the fact that she didn't contract HIV/Aids during the marriage to that man is by the grace of God. My point regarding this is those are homosexual tendencies, you are lucky to find a homosexual male that is monogamous. Also I can't honestly see anything wrong with African Americans, but I won't interfere with any problems you have with them. The Bible teaches we all descended from Adam + Eve, we are all...

  • @mcmeister89 continued... We are all one race in essence. Being African American has nothing to do with homosexuality. One is a sin/behavior problem the other is simply a shade of melanin and a genetic trait that you are born with. If Homosexuality is a natural trait people receive when they are born let me give you some other natural tendencies: Complaining, Stealing, Coveting, Adultery/Fornication, Killing. Just take the Bibles word on it and you won't have to ask me.

  • @rublab1 Whats funny about your comment is that if homosexuals weren't discriminated against they wouldn't have to have fake marriages with women and risk spreading diseases to people who weren't "sinners".

  • @rublab1 How is homosexuality a choice? I am a straight male. I see a hot naked woman and I get a hard on. Its not a choice- it just happens. I see cock and balls and it doesn't get me hard. Its not a choice- it just doesn't happen. If you are a straight male I would have to assume the same happens for you. A gay man sees a cock its probably gonna get him aroused. By your assumption you have homosexual tendencies that you CHOOSE not to act on. That makes you just as gay as the rest of them.

  • @silviasr20det All natural attributes of a person that are unchangeable have genes. No gene has been discovered for homosexuality nor will it ever be discovered. All behavioral attributes in a person that are changeable aren't in a persons genome. Studies have shown that a possible cause of odd sexual tendencies are caused by psycholical problems possibly caused by abuse or mistreatment, maybe sexual experimentation when a person was young.

  • @rublab1 I never said there was a gene responsible for it. The reality of it is, though, that if it gets you off it gets you off. I don't choose for a nice set of tits to turn me on they just do. The same way they do for most straight males. If a guy isn't turned on by women how is it his fault? You can pretend but then it goes back to you aunts husband who tried it and it didn't work. He tried to CHOOSE straight living but it obviously didn't work for him.

  • @silviasr20det yah its because he had a sex problem and still does lol. He didn't just cheat on my aunt, he cheated lots and lots.

  • @rublab1 Cheating is cheating. Its a piece of shit thing to do but it happens everyday- gay or straight. But he was cheating on people with men. Its obviously his preference.

I'll be honest. Watching two dudes making out creeps me out a little. But it doesn't hurt anybody. Its their life and they can live it anyway they choose. They don't need some religious douche bag telling them that they are going to hell. It causes you no harm so why not mind your fucking business.

  • @silviasr20det Yah its creepy. And Gays and straights doing it both ways its wrong. like I said he wasn't just cheating with one person, he had multiple people he was cheating with. I think like 20+, maybe even more, he would go to gay hang out spots and find men to do it with. Just think of it like this, if justification for being gay is love, then people would be corking cars in the exhaust pipe, and raping tree bark.

  • @rublab1 I'm not really following your "... if justification for being gay...." line. Im not sure what you are trying to say.

  • @silviasr20det lets just not discuss this lol, because we were both brought up differently. You are accepting of them, and I am too. But you believe its ok for them to be that way, I don't. We have different beliefs and there is no chance I will see it your way nor I will see it your way lol.

  • @rublab1 Well you are right that we wont see eye to eye. Just don't kid yourself that you are accepting of them because its absolute bullshit.

  • @silviasr20det U gotta get the last word in ehh? ok go ahead

  • if god could be proven you wouldnt have "faith" then would you. i dont have faith in gravity because it is proven that it exists. i dont have faith in whales because we know they actaully exist.

  • why do so many think that believing in something without evidence is virtuous? is believing in bigfoot really seen as strong character in somebody. like religion, there are hundreds of accounts of bigfoot sightings and "evidence" such as footprints and fur and always fuzzy video of him. am i inspirational for believing in him?

  • And another "proof" that the imaginary cosmic pimp daddy known as "god" is true... yeah, alright, just cut that shit already.

  • The stupid proof from existence the video claims prove god are no proof at all. If the balance and the attractions and the physical laws werent as they are we would not be here to talk about. Who knows maybe there were billions of big bangs where the universe tried to set up different physical laws but failed, and on this particular one, everything seemed to turn out OK enough to cause life to erupt somewhere. This is the 21st century and its a shame people are still so backward in intellect

  • @elborrador yah it is sad that the most unprimitive species is the only one ever known to bow its head in prayer to God. maybe its a coincidence?

  • Ha, before you can go explaining away why there is famine and blaming it on ANYTHING, you must first answer Epicurus's Riddle Is God willing to prevent evil, but not able? Then he is not omnipotent. Is he able, but not willing? Then he is malevolent. Is he both able and willing? Then whence cometh evil? Is he neither able nor willing? Then why call him God?

All of these apply to all of your clips in my opinion.

  • wow wow.... I was watching this just saying to my self "is he going to say anything relevent to his claims no he just preachs don't waste your time watching this just silliness.

  • christianity started as a nice religion.. but it grew into a business and that's what it is today. christians hunted and killed witches because the higher ups in the church ordered it. they ordered it because they thought theyd lose money.

  • @bongchampion Yah I'm a Christian, and no where in the Bible does it say to hunt people accused of being witches and killing them. I find it sad that the bad portrayals of Christianity are made by the Christians with very little knowledge of it.

  • @rublab1 nowhere it says, specifically, kill witches.. but thats not what the bible is about, is it? it's a bunch of stories that people can interpret(sp?) how they want and use those lessons towards their own life.. and I know that somewhere, maybe not in the bible but some other catholic/christian book, that you should kill everyone who doesnt beleive in me or something along those lines.

  • @bongchampion if you say you think its a book maybe in the Bible you aren't sure, then you should probably maybe try finding where it says that. Also the qu'ran or the muslim holy book has a prophet that believes all non believers should be killed. The qu'rans prophets are certainly not the same as the Bibles. Some of them go hand in hand, but no Christian book in the Bible declares a war on non believers.

  • @rublab1 I dont read the bible, I dont want to get in a big discussion with a bible humper. my original point was christians kileld witches because their leader felt threatened theyd lose followes, and ultimately money.. I could be confusing catholic with christian, I probably am.

  • @bongchampion Well I can say from what I know this wasn't indeed catholicism, from what I know it was mainly puritans. This is a sincerely sad story in the context that these people totally distort their religion. As a person who is a baptist I know from reading the Bible that punishment is left to God. We go off the belief that people may sin in this earth, but after death that is when they receive true punishment. This just proves that these people weren't Bible believing Christians. :D

  • this does not prove that god exists. it kind of made me laugh that you were trying to prove he existed through science lmao.

and it made me barf that you showed the plane hitting that tower 5 times you sick fuck.

  • ... Where does this video provide "proof" of God?

Religiousity makes me embarrassed for my species.

  • Give me a proof that God is exist, a picture of him or something that tells that he exist..

I Tryed to believe on him once, but it ended with my grandpa died.... so i have ignored God since that... God is a murder....

  • @Doom7073 im not trying to start crap but do u honestly expect a pic of god? if u believe in god that does not mean nothing bad will happen to you,

  • Gods will is that everyone.. no matter what you have done.. will accept Jesus christ as their savior. Jesus is the one who makes us right in Gods sight, so that we are acceptable in the eyes of God.

  • Yep.. thinking logically points to a creator... but alot of people don't want to accept the fact that creation has to have a beginning.. and that beginning has always been.. God. God is the Alpha and the Omega.. the First and the Last everlasting God. God has always been, because he is God, and you accept it by faith, not by understanding, because creation has to stop at a creator.. does it not? God is the one who created science; they coexist.

  • right so everything has to come from somewhere, except for god. your views are extremely narrowminded and hypocritical if you believe so

  • God is risen!! He loves you and cares for you !!

message me if you want to know more about God.

  • this is the worst "god exists" video i have ever seen. THERE IS NO REASON THAT LIFE EXISTS, IT IS SIMPLY A MISTAKE IN THE COURSE OF THE SCIENCE. I hope people following christianity realize they are rejecting thousands of other gods and religions. These religions have the exact same reasons as to why their god exists. Atheists always have better reasons. people sometimes say "god has made me a better person". It wasn't god, it was you choosing to be a better person.

  • aha. cruelty in nature is caused by the fall of man. fascinating. did you not hear that the majority of other species existed millions of years before man, and not all of them were herbivores? so - how did this nonexistant human species cause cruelty in nature?

  • That's all the proof I need! There ARE fairies in my garden, I knew it!

  • No, no, no, no, no. You have it completely wrong! This video does not prove the existence of God in the slightest! All signs you have mentioned are examples of the beautiful work of the Flying Spaghetti Monster. I hope someday you can be relieved of your delusion and finally face reality.

  • The list below shows how religious people faulter in the debate of "god" vs. science".

This is called "scientific illiteracy", meaning they have no idea how the scientific method works in order to provide answers. Religion starts and ends with faith. Science starts with theory, that through rigorous testing and cross-referencing leads to REASONABLE proof, not absolute. Scientic theory changes as new evidence comes to light. Faith does not, even in the face of overwhealming counter-proof.

  • 1) The beauty of nature, animals playing, accompanied by sentimental music is not proof.

    2) You don't choose NOT to believe in something. You choose TO believe, even when there is no real proof.

    3) Science is more than the imagery of cruelty and destruction you have as examples of it.

    4) There was evil, inequality and social unrest even in times when people WERE more religious. All these things are human weaknesses.

    5) Science is not the same as faith, and cannot be treated it as such.

  • @thebbeenn I think I love you... :3

  • all delusions poor bastard...

  • I could also use these laws to suggest that magic fairies fine tuned the universe, or an army of invisible engineers, or a hyper intelligent potato-monster. All of these things seem just as likely as the god of the bible.

  • Sad sad sad

  • (cont'd) these three obvious errors give me all the more reason to question what the author wrote in this video - people with a religious bias jump to these conclusions, instead of looking at the facts more carefully. One example is Lee Smolin's theory of the fecund universe, in which he presents strong evidence using particle physics for the possibility multiple universe. Read an updated science journal before making a video attempting to "prove" God, or maybe learn the definition of "proof" :P

  • there are three HUGE errors in the texts presented in this video: 1) the argument that scientists think "something came out of nothing", absolutely NOT TRUE, 2) Richard Dawkins is not the scientist who devised the theory of the Multiverse, he merely refers to it in one of his books. Nor is he necessarily "the most prolific scientific atheist". He's an evolutionary biologist / zoologist, cosmology isn't even his field, and 3) there IS scientific evidence supporting the Multiverse theory

  • one more thing: in the beginning you talked about how "ALL the evil, inequality, and social unrest has come from living apart from God and his world." what about the people who DO believe in God and follow His teachings, yet still find their lives in the toilet?

and what about the divine plan? Didn't He make a plan when he created the universe? Isn't it just possible that everyone's suffering is ALL part of His Plan? Unless he doesn't have one, or missed that part when he made it initially.

  • "Didn't He make a plan when he created the universe? "

According to the book of myth, he did.

That plan included temptation, sin, evil,

    the demand for human sacrifice,

and torturing most humans and many angels in hell forever.

    And ugly, ugly myth.

It's time to discard it and act as rational beings.

  • i agree.

    that was my point.

  • Yes.

    I was agreeing with you.

  • also: at 4:05 you said "in order to explain the origin of the universe, scientists would have you believe that "nothing" gave rise to something". well guess what, most religious people would have you believe the same thing, about God no less. how did God come to exist? did He create Himself? how can He create Himself if He wasn't there in the first place?

  • please, next time, don't make the video with the christian music. if you want to try and reach "non-believers", don't add music that would most likely piss them off (like it did me).

but putting the music aside, i have a couple of points. one: all of the forces you listed (strong force, GRAVITY, etc) all have natural explanations and their mere existence does not prove God's.

  • Wow...you need to go to a Christianity Explored course or something like that...you are way off.

It is logically impossible that any being can have all of the characteristics - but God isn't just any old 'being' as you describe it. We are not equal with God, and therefore we cannot imagine how powerful He is, because our brains cannot understand it - we are incapable of understanding it because we are inferior to Him...

  • and continue...God is loving in nature - He created you! He gave you free will - otherwise He could have made you into a robot. God created the heavens...and sent His only son to die for us on a cross...God saved your life...how can He not be loving if He saved your life? He is giving you the opportunity to go to Heaven, and have eternal life in Heaven away from Hell. Those who are not with Him, are against Him - and therefore will go to Hell...

  • God doesn't want us to have eternal suffering...this is why He is offering us the chance to escape from it. All you have to do is put your trust in Him, and believe in Him -and you'll be saved. He gave his son to die for you - and yet you can't thank him for it or ask for forgiveness when He died for your sins and was humbled on the most humiliating form of torture.

  • "God doesn't want us to have eternal suffering" Right. Which explains why he made humans sin-prone, why he made these horrible rules, why he created hell, why he sends people to hell... He's a sadistic psychopath who demands human sacrifice (after forbidding human sacrifice) to appease his insane rage. Listen, without God inventing hell there would BE no hell. How hard is that to understand?
  • and finally...

God sees evil, and hates it, He weeps at evil. But we were given free will and it is our own doing. When Adam and Eve rejected God, God cast them out and they were sinners...we have inherited that sin. He has given us the chance of a new life in Heaven where evil will not exist. He is all loving because he has offered us *all* a chance of escape, and to live in His new creation when he comes to judge us fairly and with love.

  • " He is all loving because he has offered us *all* a chance of escape"

    Escape from what?

From the hell HE made and threatens us with.

    How kind.

  • god exists and the hell and heaven is bullshit it depents if u want it right now ..it is made by humans to controll there "instincts" like killing eachother..god is like a scientist he made an experiment..created humans...and how isthe experiment works the best ? if the "people" dont know that they are in experiment ..it is in the commandments..just look u will find it ..it says something u should not look after god or imagine him^^

  • ".it is in the commandments..just look u will find it "

    Here's a better idea-

    YOU make the claim,

so YOU look it up and show us.

  • do u feel better calling other people stupid ?:D let ur sexuall frustration free!

  • Actually, yes, a little, and it's not sexual frustration; I'm a 15 year old girl.

  • oh yes u are..puberty FTW :)

  • That is so pathetic and juvenile. I pity people like you, I really do. You the type of person who has to bring sex into everything ( a sign of you own sexual frustration), a.k.a. a sad pervert.

  • hehe typical puberty behavior :)

  • How on Earth is that typical puberty behavior!? Besides, people generally go through puberty when they are 11 or 12. Just because you were late, it doesn't mean that everyone else is too. Go and get some intelligence you bloody retard!

  • rofl "get some intelligence" :D

  • I see you haven't taken that advice...

  • "God sees evil, and hates i"

God created evil, and he causes it.

"When Adam and Eve rejected God, God cast them out"

    They did NOT reject God,

they fell to temptation and ate a bit of fruit.

And as God knew damned well this would happen,

    the responsibility is HIS.

  • okay u dont like god..and blame for all the "bad" look u even believe this apple storie ..hahah^^ and i dont want to prove u something i wanted inspire u to read something :)

  • "look u even believe this apple storie " No I don't. Learn to read. " i dont want to prove u something i wanted inspire u to read something :)" You made a claim. I invited you to back it up. If you can't, of course, you can't. Which is what I thought. I don't believe the bible and I don't believe you. Now it's clear, eh?
  • These people make me hate freedom of speech

  • this video makes me want to hit my wife.(-) 7billion stars!

  • Folks, it is best not to waste your time here on YouTube arguing with the God-haters. Pray for them, pray for all. If you meet them in person, then witness to them, but do not throw your pearls before swine. Let them be.

Shunning is very effective, when done in obedience to the Lord.

If the atheist is interested in the truth, invite him to join you while you volunteer in a soup kitchen or some other work of charity.

Love is the ultimate proof of the Truth of our religion. God is Love.

  • Actually, I worked at a soup kitchen, and I gathered cans to feed the hungry.

    And I'm an atheist.

Love doesn't prove Truth of religion. It just proves some people are good.

And it has nothing to do with religion.

  • And as another small point, given infinity, the creation of a universe in which life is possible is guaranteed. So the fact that our universe happens to allow for life doesn't prove god in my eyes, it just proves infinity. (And infinity disproves divine constant by its very nature.)

  • Alright, if you're going to use the existence of the universe as an argument for god, that's fine, but let me point out the "god" in this case is NOT one of religious origin and does not conform to any sort of Biblical model. If you want to believe in a god, I personally think that's totally fine, but it's when people feel the need to ascribe that belief to a religion that problems arise, because the religious god does not exist. You can say God exists, just don't package it in religion's lies.

  • Funny the author of this video supports the big bang, which contradicts his holy scripture!

So even if these natural laws were evidence for a designer, it wouldn't be the designer you worship, you muggins!

  • "In the view of such harmony in the cosmos which I, with my limited human mind, am able to recognise, there are yet people who say there is no God. But what makes me really angry is that they quote me for support for such views."(The Expanded Quotable Einstein, Princeton University Press, p. 214)

Ahahahahaa rhcpdude not only is a liar, Einstein himslef called him out on it !!!

ROFL - arheists cant tell the truth

  • rhcpdude got cold busted lying!!!!

    Dishonest atheist scumbag.

  • A lying atheist? Unheard of!

  • NICE TRY but you said "confirmed Atheist".

    YOU GOT BUSTED SON

  • It was known as "Einsteins Great Blunder". Look it up.

We do have modest senses, but we also have great imaginations. I'd rather put together the evidence and make a conclusion after its all collected. People like you cant stand not having an answer so you would rather make one up.

and he was a confirmed atheist.

  • YOU GOT CAUGHT IN A LIE SON. Now you lying to cover your lie. Even Christopher Hitchens says Einstien believed in God. Your are proving the stereotype about atheist morality.

  • Sorry guys. But I got better morals than any christian could whip up.

I lost my faith last year because I couldn't stand other christians and their hypocricy.

    So suck it guys.

God is just a Santa for adults.

  • Einstein disapproved of atheists using his name at all.

"In the view of such harmony in the cosmos which I, with my limited human mind, am able to recognise, there are yet people who say there is no God. But what makes me really angry is that they quote me for support for such views." (The Expanded Quotable Einstein, Princeton University Press, p. 214)

  • "A man's ethical behavior should be based effectually on sympathy, education, and social ties; no religious basis is necessary. Man would indeed be in a poor way if he had to be restrained by fear of punishment and hope of reward after death."

    (The Quotable Eistein)

  • "It was, of course, a lie what you read about my religious convictions, a lie which is being systematically repeated. I do not believe in a personal God and I have never denied this but have expressed it clearly. If something is in me which can be called religious then it is the unbounded admiration for the structure of the world so far as our science can reveal it." From a letter Einstein wrote in English, dated 24 March 1954.

  • rhcpdude says: "Haha,Einstein was a confirmed atheist."

    Einstein says...

I want to know how God created this world. I am not interested in this or that phenomenon, in the spectrum of this or that element. I want to know his thoughts. The rest are details. (The Expanded Quotable Einstein, Princeton University Press, 2000 p.202)

  • "Thus I came...to a deep religiosity, which, however, reached an abrupt end at the age of 12. Through the reading of popular scientific books I soon reached a conviction that much in the stories of the Bible could not be true....Suspicion against every kind of authority grew out of this experience...an attitude which has never left me."

    (The Quotable Einstein)

  • look you can't prove or disprove a creator. You can't create life, it is a mystery how it got here so untill we can artificially create life i think we should put a hold on the whole subject.

  • If god's omnipotent, omniscient and has a plan, then he would never alter that plan without having initially intended to, as he would have had all of the info in the beginning (when does an eternal being begin?).Furthermore, given the aforementioned attributes of the christian god, that is claimed to be somehow proven by this video, how could we possibly stray from his divine plan? Are we more powerful than god? If so then then the god that exists is not the god of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.

  • Haha,Einstein was a confirmed atheist.

  • If anything he was an agnostic.. Lots of his quotes were about God.

  • Well, every Atheist is pretty much an Agnostic.

But they treat the existence of a god like gnomes or fairies. Technically everyone is an agnostic. It just depends on what they're agnostic about.

  • Google "God does not play dice", and you will discover that Einstein meant the mathematically beautiful natural laws when using the word God. Einstein was an atheist.

  • Einstein was a confirmed deist. HE believed in God. Relativity confirms creation. Get an a education before you comment again.

  • did he beleive in the God that created the world in 7 days? I don't know about that. To say he was a deist means that he believed that there is 'a' god. Not that he believes in "God". He certainly didn't believe that Adam was the first human now did he?

Get an education before you comment again.

  • I said deist. So you basically just repeated what I said and pretended like you told me something.. You are the ignoramus that claimed he was an atheist.

Atheism is for losers and fools.

  • Did I repeat what you said?

You would have been better off saying that Eistein believed in "a"*with extra empasis on "a") creator. By saying God your implying the Abrahamic God of Israel.

Maybe you can clarify what "God" means?

As in a god or "God"?

P.S. Giving me thumbs down doesnt really mean anything. Thats why I dont bother with it.

  • You said he was a "confirmed atheist" - you got busted telling a blatant lie. That's atheist morality for you. Nice job!

"In the view of such harmony in the cosmos which I, with my limited human mind, am able to recognise, there are yet people who say there is no God. But what makes me really angry is that they quote me for support for such views."

(The Expanded Quotable Einstein, Princeton University Press, p. 214)

  • woops, little mistake there in the vid. apparently gravity makes sure the atoms stick together and makes sure we live...wow, lucky for us there's gravity, because without gravity, like in space, we wouldn't survive...wait...space...astronauts go in space...and they can survive in 0 gravity...OW MY GOD, THAT DENIES ALL LAWS OF FYSICS!!! nope, not really mate...you just used the wrong laws to explain stuff...
