  • What pulley are you running, and 4.11 gears? Doesn't make sense. I'm guessing you are not running the 3.8 pulley that comes stock with the A&A kit, or you would be in the mid to upper 500's with it. Mine makes 572rwhp with no headers, and pulls a hell of a lot harder than this vette.

  • More like he was making too much power for the stock input shaft, would rather have that problem than the weak rearends and pistons in the late model F-bodys, been there, done that!

  • Do you have a centrifugal? If so, you dont have the instant power the Cobra has, plus their weak link in the transmission is the 10 spline input shaft. They all break in the 400's rwhp when beat on, swap to a 26 spline and it will take ALOT of abuse.

  • ummm hey buddy.... both the 03 and 04 cobras have the t-56 tranny as well as 4th gen 6speed f-bodys.... a stock t-56 should handle a lot more power than what that cobra was putting out... but parts break all the time without really any reason....

  • Ummm hey buddy, the 03 Cobra t56 has a 10 spline input shaft that is super weak, all you have to do is swap to a Liberty 26 spline and it's alot stronger.

  • hard shifting with them too iv heard it fucks them up cuz the shift forks are cast alluminum...

  • Awesome first-gen. Can't win on aerodynamics though.

  • Aero wasnt the problem, nitrous wasnt spraying and it started dumping fuel, it was breaking up bad. That car on the bottle on a good run will destroy that C6 as it sat. The C6 has since picked up about 100 rwhp. Would be a good race with both on a clean pass.

  • HAHAHA I see so many videos of mustangs breaking up during races... never seen a chevy do that (seen them crash, but not break haha). That 67 camaro was fucking sick!! that Z06 kicked ass to though... but the 67 was something else

  • Hmmm, funny, I have seen alot of GM's break when racing, my Z28's broke plenty on me! So did my V8 S-10
