@thekilmer09 the angles opposite each other are supplementary meaning they add up to 180, if you have 4 angles and 2 are supplementary to the other 2, that means that theres two 180's a.k.a. 360

Teachers talk to much PROBABLY because they want to explain how it works not just solve the problem, do you guys know why people forget formulas in geometry ?that's because they intend to memorize the formula instead of analyzing the problem to create the formula itself. The way how Geometry works is not simple. IT requires logic and Perspective...Memorizing formulas is not really needed....you just have to analyze the problem..I'm a 9th grader anyway(suppose to be on 10th, but because of my age

It's one of the properties of an inscribed quadralaterals (not sure if that's the word for four-siders ^^ ). The sum of any 2 opposite angles of the quadralateral = 180.

It comes from the two inscribed angles. One equals some arc. And the other one equals the rest of the circle (360-that arc). Both arcs summed together equal 360 (duh).. So the sum of the inscribed angles is 360/2 .

Any inscribed angle equals half the measure of the arc it points to.
