wow.... this is really...really Beautiful, i guess this old rock and roller (44) must be changing... just a bit. i remember the movie, i had just lost someone and i remember this movie being a little hard to watch.... i think i will watch it again, now.(netflix ?) i found this music because it was what was next on youtube after i Searched- " Prinsessalle " a very Haunting song from a Finnish made film called "Prinsessa" (subtitled) about a woman in a insane asylum... not english, but beautiful

The real song is called 'Idumea' it's a hymn written by Charles Wesley (who wrote Hark! The Herald Angels Sing.'

Ada plays - her rough fingers trace the pattern of that immortal love she feels for the idea of a man. She remembers the mist rolling down the green hills of south carolina, she remembers the dark hair of Inman's face and looks away at the amber gaslight. He is fighting - fighting a war that is ripping the arteries of this land. Ada plays a hymn for the life she is too scared to forget or live with him, she plays this on her tired piano as a hymn to the soul of America.
