Im not tryin to get into a fight on here or nothing, but seriously everyone is right. Bearded dragons are NEVER supposed to have the water above the shoulder level because water gets in their ear and makes them VERY sick. I learned that the hard way when my dragon was goin in circles in his cage and couldnt walk straight. They will get an inner ear infection. Lower the water levels a little, he is tryin to get out, not swim.

I recommend that you get rid of that sand! With dragons, I never use a loose substrate. The best stuff I use is paper towels, thick cardboard, or laminate.
