  • dude you are a god! i have been struggling with this rhythm thing for ages... i get the down up thing but it never clicked till i saw this vid where u put it in laymans terms! now my strumming sounds like music! THANKS!

  • I spent 5 hrs searching for a good tutorial on strumming but none of them were able to explain me the details of strumming as your video has.

Thank you very much for this well set up and well explained video.

  • Excellent even a French can do it

  • This was very helpful, thanks.

  • This is one of the best videos on strumming for the beginners and trust me, I have seen many. The difference between this video and many others is that it uses the concept of beats and notes (quarter, eighth etc.) very well in explaning the patterns. Just saying "down down up up down up"does not help; if you say it's "One, Two &, &, four &", it makes it just much easier to understand!

  • Stupid question coming --- How do you link the strum pattern to a tune-- for example a song in four time which pattern do you use

  • hey man great

  • Nicely done. Very professional. good camera work with split screen and text.
