  • I can't remember the model number because I was too young at the time, but a yellow IHC truck just like this one was used in the fire dept across from where I grew up in the early eighties. It was an eighteen-wheel pumper. I had a really short ride in it and I enjoyed watching the driver back it into the bay from my upstairs window. The most notable recollection was that the old truck backfired all the time, lol. Love the old trucks. The R series has always been my favorite. Sharp looking rigs
