Like, when it kept on going back to Rin's father's thoughts, he kept thinking of her and the letter and he knew she was going to die, so her sought out to kill Len and when he did get Len he didn't seem to be that angry, and he probably killed Len on the purpose that Len and Rin get to be together in the afterlife.. or maybe I'm overthinking this xD

In the story Len was a Jew (at least thats what I got from it when I saw 'Prisoner') and Rin's father was a Nazi soldier and him seeing the letters Rin got from Len was how he found out about all the planes Len kept. Then at the end the Nazis started to eradicate all the Jews when the war was turning against them.

So much hate on the dad. Maybe he knew that Rin wasn't going to make it, and how much she wanted to be with Len. So he played the bad guy and ripped the letters to anger Len into assaulting him, so that he would get executed. That way Len can be with Rin when she passes away. I mean if read his expression after Len punching him. That's not an expression of an evil/angry man. Then again, who knows. maybe I'm reading into it too much.

@RedGuren I think the whole deal is that... in Prisoner (which is the prequel) was depicting her father as another cruel prison guard as those from the Holocaust. The fact that his daughter was sending letters to a prisoner from a concentration camp he guarded probably disgusted him so he sent Len away so he wouldn't bother his daughter anymore. But he saw how unhappy she was after and just before she passed away, to see one last smile, he gave her one of Len's letters.

The asult an officer

They were trying to get infomation out of the prisoner

Prisoner's were killed after there was no longer any use for them, but some camps didn't do that, instead they would just torture the prisoners until death. (er something like this)
