Maybe a year too late, but this is RBS, not HBOS. Its not the same board as the board that created the mess that led up to the major recession. I would say the current board are doing a good job of fixing everything that went wrong. Though, I agree that something must be done about the bonus culture in general. it's very easy to get caught up in the hype. We have to try and be sensible about these things, rash thinking and not checking the facts is a dangerous thing, as the banks well know.
Helpful Banking my ass. They are still ripping customers to the tune of £89 million as part of the RBS group. The money they steal of the poor of this country pay for big bonus payments to managers and directors. The very same people who got this country and the world in the financial mess its now in. We the taxpayer bailed their ass out of the shit and they still ripping us off. They should have been let fold like any other business.

I'm setting up a site to get as many people to leave HBOS as possible, now were getting charged £1 a day for having the priveledge of have an overdraft facility, not going into the red, for using the overdraft!!!!!! They are scumbags, and I see no difference between them and a common crook. People wake up, close any accounts/dealings you have with HBOS, at least do some research as to why.
