  • takhle jsem projizdel mustanga 50 :-) ale v 6 letech tohodle komara chce osedlat :-)

  • what oil do you use in your bike?

  • @grizzskoalcope - I use Amsoil 0W40 I think is what it is... I don't have it in front of me as I am on vacation right now. It is the off-road oil and is fantastic stuff. A little pricier, but you will thank yourself in the long run.

  • @grizzskoalcope - Hey man, just realized that I do have a video of the bike now after a complete overhaul in January. Check my other vids - "1986 to 1992 Yamaha XT350 in 3.5 hours"

  • does your gas line valve screw leak too? im thinking about picking up a metal aftermarket plug for it

  • @stalker958 - My petcock was leaking around the screws so what i did was took apart and old chain and used the rubber o-rings as washers when I put the screws back on. It worked like a charm.

  • do you know where i can get a carb for this bike? i know they are harder to come by since they have the dual carb

  • @wheelerboy12 - They certainly are hard to come by - I had a second set but had to rip into the them and steal the slave carb as someone had cross-threaded the jet in it... needless to say it was a bitch of a job but worth it in the end.

  • sweet dog :)

  • @qqupevaj - Thanks man, the bike actually looks a lot different now. I should make a new video which I will do when I get home from California... going to start making a lot more videos of me working on the bikes and what I do with them. I am looking forward to it. Keep checking back!

  • HOW HARD IS TO REPLACE THE VALVES AND THE REST WORK THAT YOU DID?

  • @MOUSEBOWEN - These engines are easy as hell to work on. It was my first engine job and after ripping it apart and putting it back together a couple of times I can do it with my eyes closed now.. lol. Just be sure to take your time and torque it all to spec once complete. If you are doing the valves... do the timing chain as well. It is a little bit more work but worth it for the price of the valves if they get bent!

  • Thanks for replying! I also have a black XT350 (mine is a 1988), and I'm thinking of changing the the mask as well! With an old school UFO TT350 styled one, that lookes similar to this one! Other than that I have to load a new 12V battery and a new 520 chain for now! -So from your experience, this headlight (UFO) will not leave enough space for the stock signal lights and speedo/tach to fit in all together hugh??

  • @savvasgrace - Sorry so long to respond. I am going to dig out the UFO mask when I get back home and see if it will fit. I might be taking the speedo off again and just leaving the RPM meter on it. Not sure but I think I will be doing another overhaul and making a video of all the work. I have some metal shavings showing up in the oil so I want to fix whatever it is before it gets too bad. I will post some more vids soon... keep checking.

  • Great job! Plus this headlight mask makes it look amazing!! -Much prettier than the original!! May I ask if its an old ufo enduro mask?

  • @savvasgrace - It is a UFO mask. I bought it this year to put on it. I have since changed it to an original one as I got a whole bike in parts. I however don't like the stock one and will most likely change it. I put all the signal lights and speedo/tach back on so I might have to remove those to get this to fit again. Any ways... thanks for the comment! I do have a video that is newer showing all the new parts, etc. A complete frame swap.

  • the same kind of bike i have
