Listed among one of ten ancient musical pieces, Autumn Moon over Han Palace actually does not have a very long history. Not concrete and definite in theme, the music is generally believed to express the hidden bitterness and depression suffered by palace maids in the imperial palace. The urheen version and zither version are forms of performance now widely in circulation.

Originally the first segment of the namesake lute music of the Chongming School, the urheen version of Autumn Moon over Han Palace has also been played with Cantonese urheen after it was transplanted into Guangdong ditties. In about 1929, the celebrated folk music performer and educator Liu Tianhua recorded the scores for the disc Cantonese urheen version of Autumn Moon over Han Palace and adapted it to performance with urheen.

@gigismennr1 , the name of this piece is Han denisty, the moon of Fall. In old China, the King have hundreds of women in his paplace. I guess this piece describe about their sad life. The woman once inside the paplace, never have right to meet a guy in here life. They are considered to be the king's wife. Most of them virgin in their whole life. Not good.

拉的真不怎么好听，说真的～～蒋风之是刘天华的四个徒弟中的一个­，刘天华最得以的学生应该是陈振铎，不过这位老先生也去世了，其­实中国还是有很多很多自己很明族的很好听的曲子的，也是有很多很­多老前辈们，那些不计较名利的人，实实在在，认认真真的作者学问­。
