  • These guys are awesome..I know the whole band. They are from Monroe, La

  • When they pumped out your guts

And filled you full of those pills

    You were never quite right

    Deserving all the chills

They say the worst is over

    Kicked it over and ran

Then they ask what went wrong

When they turn you on again

    They turn you on again.

  • Past the road to your house

    That you never called home

Where they turned out the lights

Though they say youll never know

I remember running through the wet grass

    And falling a step behind

    Both of us never tiring

    Desperately wanting

  • lol damn record company removed a few good songs from this band. Youtube is quickly turning into a crap site :-(

  • watz up with his hair?

  • Your just mad because they still get more women than you. haha

  • Theyre playin at Westminster College in Fulton, MO on Feb 5th 2009, tickets are cheap (sold through the school)and the venue is small so itll be a great show.

  • heard this on the radio today for the first time, quality alt rock. 90s <3

  • great song :) i saw them in concert once.

  • I LOVE THIS FUCKING SONG IT OWNZ ALL

  • Still sounds good after all these years.

I'd forgotten this song. Reminds me of college.

  • Some things you'll never know -AEKΔB

the rest of you are just clowns, so stop wasting you time

  • AEKDB Brother

  • andybam66

    just started a fight

  • lol i love it how i get 3 thumbs down for putting down the macarena easily the worst song of the 90s.I imagine the same people who live in the past and get mad when anyone says anything other the"i loved the 90s" gave the thumbs down

  • I miss the 90s :(

  • I miss the 90's too! Some of the best music of my lifetime!

  • i love this song.. but i can't understand the video!?

  • I haven't heard this song in soooo long. I heard it on the radio yesterday and knew the music and some of the words, but I couldn't figure out who it was or where I'd heard it. It was strange.

  • actually 90s where not all about good music, there was the macarena

  • right on bro, that was the beginning of the rot

  • well put assgoblin

  • I was born in the perfect time-frame to enjoy music growing up. Missed most of the '80s and all the hairbands wearing makeup, lived through the great music of the '90s, and now today's music involves emo bullshit bands who ironically also wear female cosmetics... vicious cycle of music.

  • Its funny how any time someone brings up Greek life, there is someone who tries to put it down. Granted it isn't for everyone, and Im the first to admit that, but to all non greeks, there is much more to who we are than you'll ever see or understand.

    A-B

  • I love this song :)

  • NOW THIS WAS A SONG ...BIG JIM...

  • i remember seeing these in Tuscon was i was 20 back in 97 they played this little bar when they where huge, played there songs and then took requests from the audience, they played fight for your right like they where the ones who wrote it,was by far the best concert i have ever been to

  • kappa sigma is one of the best frats in the world. It isn't buying friends it is a band of brothers. The only reason we pay dues is to pay for things like housing bills and socials that way it doesn't cost more for some people then it does for others. The pledgeship in the south is one of the hardest things to go through, in the end it is more than worth it cause it gives you a connection with the other people who went through it. It can take you from an individual into a brotherhood AEKDB

  • are you seriously talking about how badass your frat is??? ha what a total freaking fag. wait, thats what several of frat boys are anyway (with exceptions of course). anyway, great song and video.

  • luv the 90s

  • Good song

  • I love this band and this era of rock, before it turned to stupud emo bullshit... they resemble Live too. Great time in music.

  • Oh, damn, this song takes me back...

  • i thought it was about 2 people in love and their parents didnt want them 2 be together...but i guess i was a little off

  • kappa sigma is one of the most legit fraternities, its not only one of the oldest but the best managed..i would challenge anyone except figi when it comes to networking and alumni.. oh and you couldn't handle a kappa sigma pledgeship in the south. i can promise that.

  • does it involve getting spanked by a wood paddle? cuz no i couldnt handle that, seems a little gay.

  • networking and alumni? the only reason they have that is because they let EVERYONE in. every new pledge they had this year is a douche. and kappa sig pledgeship isnt shit compared to some of the other fraternities. try sigma chi or KA if you want a hard pledgeship. If you want an impossible pledgeship try DEKE but as it stands i have better things to do than pay for friends, although i do have many friends in many different fraternities

  • We let everyone in? Are you out of your fucking mind? The KA's let everyone in. I'm a Northern Jew and I was given a bid by KA at a deep South school. A southern fraternity founded on confederate principles giving someone like me a bid? That's a joke. Stop talking shit when you don't know what you're talking about. We've been around for 600 years for a REASON, fool.

  • why are you areguing a damn gay ass subject like frats? haha.. how much did you pay for your buddies?? lol. i get all the benefits of going to parties, girls, intramurals, friends, and everything else except those gay greek t-shirts. and trust me, i wouldn't put one of those damn things on for 20 dollars.

  • Joel Rundell

  • This song is about pledging Kappa Sigma and also getting initiated.. You can't understand without knowing the rituals and traditions. They were kappa sigs themselves at LSU. A->B

  • A----->B

To all those who really know what this song is about!!

  • This song is honor of TRENT EDWARDS!!!!!!!!!!!

  • really? when he was 13?

  • TRENT EDWARDS is the man!!! go bills :)

  • he is good, but the rest of their season will be problematic.. they wont make the playoffs. no way they are clinching a wild card spot, but they have a lot of potential.

  • I love this song, reminds me of being young and free of so much stress like now.

  • its about a girl in a mental institution. he misses her. it mentions how trouble her home life was. when she got admitted into the hospital. and of course her drug induced near permanent state. thank you white coats. took the mind of another confused person. fuck!

a baby bursts into the world never given a chance... then you ask what went wrong?

kick em just once and well all say you won the war. fight back at all. please fight.

  • winning the war would just be over coming the sedatives just long enough to kick someone is winning a war.

she never called her house home. wonder why? maybe mom and dad werent much of a mom and dad. oh well. nothing we can do for her. wheres my government regulated pill bag. there you go. no bad thoughts. no thoughts at all. there. all better. now you cant cause anyone a problem. especially not me. outragious thinking like all this isnt real. my bank account is real. this has to be real.

  • I wasn't sure exactly if it was that or just drug addiction, but that makes sense. A great song. I wished they'd done more like it. There were a lot of idiots who thought it was just another love song and it seems more like a friend but maybe both...i figured the chorus refers to desperately wanting escape from the control of drugs, abuse by parents, control by officials, etc.

  • to me "despretly wanting" is just wanting love. you know?... just love. not abuse. being something that cant be hurt. i was young. so were you. so was this artist. and tahts what its about. just being in love and wanting everything to get out of the way. my first love died. i guess thats why i see it this way.

  • pete n pete isn't music

    it's gospel

  • LSU huh, im sure there were corn dogs a plenty down there.

  • i so miss the 90's. i miss third eye blind (i know they still make music, but i miss hearing them on the airwaves), the gin blossoms... all sorts of things. and i know its not music, but i miss pete n pete. lol

  • this band and this song brings back a lot of memories for me

  • also dont forget sublime, local h, and like a million other bands because the 90's was the best

  • agreed!

  • just listen to any of the songs on that buzz ballads cd, it really brings back memories and has all those great bands

  • just listen to any of the songs on that buzz ballads cd, it really brings back memories and has all those great bands

  • yeh the sigs use this song alot.. I would too if my sisters wrote it! I love BTE! They always put me in a good mood!

  • F*%&!#g great song!!! Wish they would come to western NY.

    A+

  • i love this song so much. i used to listen to it all the time wen i lived with my mum. i have to admit, the music back then was reli gud, but i think that we do have alot of gud artist these days and alot of unfound people that have great talent. anyway thanks for the vid. xox

  • kappa sigs? anyone?

  • the 90s were the best, bands now adays should take some pointers from BTE, Live, Gin Blossoms, etc

  • i agree...after the 90's everything just falls apart..no offense to the new generation..;p

  • Simply agreed.

  • ha, Don't forget Sister Hazel, Toad the Wet Sprocket, Eve 6, and Collective Soul! :)

  • Hell yes! All good bands right there. Toad the Wet Sprocket is severely unrecognized.

  • I know! It's kind of sad, really. Something's Always Wrong is an amazing song
