Hi! I just found this video... of me. :) We fixed the wig and are slowly fixing the Cosplay. For one thing, my wife is a professional operatic mezzo so she's teaching me to sing more like Bowie does in the movie. I'm also hoping to have the Ball outfit for 2012. =D
This was a zero-budget attempt at the costume. We figured, he can juggle, and he can sing, and he kind of resembles Bowie, so let's borrow a friend's anime wig, spike up the top, borrow another friend's shirt and vest, wife's workout yoga pants, friend's pirate boots, a little makeup, and go juggle. He was a HUGE HIT! We've been investing a little more money into the costume each year, a proper wig, etc. Look up "Jareth the Goblin King" on face book for his fan page :)
Since I am in the process of trying to do a Jareth cosplay, I've been practicing contact juggling. Unfortunetly, I suck at it. Those unpopable bubble soap bubbles really work though. :D
I do admit that the juggling is pretty badass, but there was a girl who did Jareth last year, and she totally looked the part. Now if we combine the two....
Have you never seen the Labyrinth? There are a lot of David Bowie fans, and he did a good costume. Then there was the fact that he had the mannerisms down. :)
@BloodThirstWolf I would have LOVED to meet him! he looked a lot like jereth and i can't believe how wonderfully he did the juggling. I would have had a fangirl moment if i had met him, i imagine a lot of people did! The goblin king is awesome!

meh on the csplay, but damn.
I'm inlove with his contact juggling skills. its pretty hard, I'm trying to learn for my jareth cosplay XD
