I think this is amazing. In my opinion, Dusty and Edenia were two of the first women in Tribal Fusion to really start digging in deep with this style's derivative American influences of Popping. You see the tutting, the glides, the waves, the isolations and pops. Granted, Edenia has taken it to a whole other level since she has created her own trademark of it but Dusty should be commended for trying something that was unique at the time rather than being another Rachel or Zoe dance moniker.
She is actually an amazing costumer~happily own one of her creations.Her arms are different because she started as a pop and locker from what I understand so she's incorporating that into her (fusion) dance. I like how she glides across the floor.
The arms are intresting.. but overall they look a bit sloppy in places, tooo much movement detracts from the rest of the body.. The way she floats is auuuhmazing.. i just wish she would look like shes enjoying and not over concentrating on her performance..it makes it a bit uncomfortable to watch someone who isnt "feeling" her dance.

not only is she a good dancer, she's also a DAMN BADASS costumer!!! I just recently ordered a custom tribal belt that she's making for me personally and im stoked to get it!!!!
I love her locking, it's really great and controlled, precise. That said it was a *lot of it, could have seen more belly dancing-type action. ;) Not to say she's not lovely!

i don't generally like hip hop tribal fusion (not least because of the plain costuming) but this is pretty cool...she actually looks like she's moving in reverse. plus the costume is gorgeous.
it's like hip-hop trying to be tribal fusion... I mean, don't get me wrong, it's ok to mix different styles, but personally I don't quite like it. I feel as it is missing the actual tribal or traditional sense...the magic of tribal...(I think)
Dusty has her own unique style of tribal fusion - clearly incorporating some very sweet robotic ticking and pop locking. Being unique in terms of music choice, style and costuming is not that easy! Dusty also makes THE most amazing bespoke costumes ever - if you have seen someone like Ariellah, Molly or Sam E with a beautiful outfit, its probably one of Dusty's. Kudos!

At the first time I watched her video, her style of Bellydancing was very weird to me, because there were to less "typicall Bellydancing moves" for me. But at the second time I watched her video i just thougt that this is gorgeous. Her way and her style of Bellydancing is so mezmerizing, such as a lot of other Bellydancers and Tribal Fusion Bellydancers, and so different and especially very very very smooth.
I think that the way she moves her feet is a little bit too fast for the music and maybe that some of the moves were a bit too hip-hop alike. But still. I REALLY liked it. It stands out and I don't even think she should change the way she does it. Because this was Awesome.
I find she hasn't got such a flowing notion when she uses her arms....it looks a bit like me, when I'm trying to dance fusion xDD but a bit better ofcourse

@jewelz2k5 what u see now is not traditionaly bellydance if anythin tribal is closer. what u see now is cabaret or caberat however u spell that damned word lol cabaret is the western worlds adoption of belly dance and it got excepted in the east bcuz of its flashy and fun look

I agree about the arms. If you look, her shoulders do not move whatsoever. Maybe she just needs to do some shoulder drills. Otherwise pretty good and nice costume!

pretty strict liquid pop fusion, love it! Alot other related fusions don't have as much of the fused material in it, like maybe a cool move here and there but this was straight through, love it

No, there there were a few people on this dvd who aren't really with BDSS (like Urban Tribal).
