The club was reserved for a private party that night, the people were in a line that went down the block. The front table was reserved for Mayor Nagin................
Oh no! Sad to hear that news. But how great that he left so much wonderful music in recordings. I recall hearing him playing with Bob Schulz and that gang under a great big white tent in Connecticut and giving his all as usual. Thanks to him and to all of you who make music to enrich our lives! Thank you.
Jacques Gauthe passed from this life on June 10,2007.
He was on tour in France. His last U.S. gig was on May 27,2007. I will post video from this event over the next few weeks. Jacques, Ryan(the Lion) and Jim(Action) were the Three Musketeers four nights a week at Fritzel's , "One for all, All for one!".

Jacques is in France as we speak, playing beautifully as he always has. He still is a powerhouse of talent and energy.
