No warning of searching the house, nobody got in trouble. But so often, the common demoninator drug in these cases is alcohol. Mixing drugs is the real danger, especially different classes of depressants. Blaming "drugs" (illicit) is dangerous and counterproductive. Instead of simply demonising illicit drugs, the dangers of poly-drug use needs to be conveyed.

I absolutely agree with you one of my friends used to be a junkie years ago and one time he overdosed and the people he was with didn't call the police they just kept hitting him and trying to get him to wake up. Luckily he woke up after being out for 20 minutes, but his own 'friends' would've rather had him die then take a criminal charge even if I had to face a felony for drug possession I would've called the cops immediately not worth losing a friend, ever.
