if your going to play cqc, from what i saw, the ARES has lower fps so you can play cqc right away without modification. if you're gunna play outdoor, the D-boy. HOWEVER, overall ARES does have better quality parts overall and the gun will last longer. if you're looking into M4's, King arms make some pretty nice ones as well with working bolt catches.

This gun doesn't even hit 400. If you open up the gearbox you will notice the internals are garbage but with minor upgrades you can get an excellent performance. The battery does fit lol watch the video that they made. If you are just going to use this gun stock, I'd look at another m4.

the main drawbacks to this gun (and the other full metal m4/ m16 series of AGM guns) is the FPS. its wayto high. and over time that will lead to the guns death. your best bet is to get a G&G. they offer guns of the same price range but with way better internals in the long run. if you have any more questions please ask

High fps means that your spring has high tension on it. this high tension is what the gears have to pull back every time the gun shoots. so the gears and motor will wear down faster. so lowing the fps is a good thing in this case with a weaker spring would be good. 350 - 390 is ideal for field play for a gun like this.

your gun shoots 330 so you should be alright. where did you get that reading? because the reading from the website is not always accurate to what it really is.

because G&G is better in the long run. the internals blow the ones in this thing way out of the water. the G&G should have lower FPS which is also a good thing. this means that the gearbox has less strain on it, and the motor can cycle the spring faster thus giving you a higher rate of fire. FPS DOES NOT MEAN QUALITY

i got the other model of this rifle that comes with the rails, but its basically the same. the iron sights where amazing. but i got a NC star red dot. i suggest you take the stock, and blow it up. it was a pain in the ass, i replaced it with the new 2010 Eco-1 model stock. also take the stock hand grip, and throw it as far as you can. its shit. and NEVER take the gun apart. its like a jig saw puzzle.

First: I've owned this gun for more than a year now so i know what I'm talking about. Second: The 8.4 volt battery that comes with this gun does fit in the gun.......it's meant to go in the top of the of the hand guard. It wont fit in the bottom of the hand guard because the fuse box is in the way. However, a 9.6 volt nun-chuck battery does fit better, and gives the gun a better ROF. Third: The FPS is definitely not 460. I've have chronoed this gun many times and it's never been over 400

Is it possible to change the forward hand guard with a metal 4 rail picatinny system? Does the delta ring work the same way as my real AR-15? I would like get one that I could put my AR-15 components on it for more training whenever I want. Cant exactly shoot live targets with a real AR without simunition which is not public legal (yet).

yes they an be changed. if you pull back on the delta ring you can pull down the hand guards and swap them out with an RIS. however you will have to find another place to put the battery buecause it goes in the handguard. if i was you id just buy the version with RIS already instaled. its only like 10-15 dollars more and it comes with a replica PEQ box for the battery. hope this helps

No. NO airsoft gun is meant to shoot metal BB's. no airsoft gun you ever buy will be meant to shoot metal BB's. An 8.4 1600 mah intellect would fit fine but a 9.6 intellect nunchuk battery would be optimal. Full metal means that the reciever and the barrel will be full metal. not the stock or the hand guard. Im not sure what this guy is talking about, but the battery it comes with is a perfect fit.
