  • I thought I was the only person in the world that remembered this movie... I didn't remember the name but all I could remember was the sister who shoes were tied and the boy who fell off the roof. Lol thanks brought back memories of not having cable lol

  • Mercy! Never saw that one before. Thanks.

  • @gingercady007 you're welcome :)

  • Saw this when it was released on network TV in late 82, been searching for it since on video, dvd... any format. Can't believe it's been posted! Ty uploading, scared the hell out of me as a kid.

  • @zombiwok I wish they made movies like this now like they did in in those days

  • One of my favorites

  • wow this movie was messed up. very good and twisted tho

  • @rainbowfire123 movies made now just aren't the same :(

  • @Kreechum well i wouldn't say that. i mean ya there are some that are really crappy. But then again you also have others that i find really good. Wouldn't you say that?

  • @rainbowfire123 well, in the old days, acting and music and story was better, now days, acting is not good, music is not spooky and only special effects are better..

  • Aaron Spelling produced some really good stuff back then.

  • @floatingcompassmedia old movies beat new movies any day :)

  • Where's Clint and Clyde?

  • On a serious note, I think it's great so many movies are starting to appear in full on youtube for free:} Although we all know it's to good to last! have any of you guys, heard a rumour youtube will soon be a f@#$%^g paysite as well? Typical of todays society, everyone is greedy! or broke!

  • @RFKFANTS67 I agree everyone is so greedy and mean, at least 99 percent of people are greedy and bad :( especially people born in the late 80's and early 2000's :( I was born in the late 90's but I am nothing like my generation, I hope youtube never becomes a paysite because I don't have a credit card.. I love old movies and I wish I was born in the 70's

  • @RFKFANTS67 Of course, it's going to become a pay site. Y do u think YT is permitting more and more ppl to show ads next to their videos? There does certainly seem to be more of them than usual? When a "free" site has to encourage its members to post vids for small cash incentives (Adsense), u know it’s in trouble. So, I say, enjoy it while it lasts. Or, maybe, I'm just being paranoid. Let's hope so.

  • I love the end! My ex wife gave me the same look from the foot of the bed, I found it very erotic and nasty :}}}

  • somebody needs to beat that boy and his grandmother.

  • @watsthatsmell I think you'll be pleased as the movie progresses then

  • Why does Jennifer wear 1890s clothes and hairstyles?

  • @ragemanchoo82 maybe she likes to feel like she is from that time period

  • this film is creepy. No horror scares me much. But this did a little. and it's so simple.

slashers, aren't scary. I find them disgusting, or amusing, or entertaining. especially the new ones, like saw.

  • @Rowan07001484 Saw isn't scary at all, the first one was okay but the rest got annoying after the 3rd one.. Slashers can be scary if their done right, but new ones are stupid. The original Texas Chainsaw Massacre did a good job being a good slasher movie without even showing gore, old movies are much better than the dumb new ones thats for sure.

  • @Kreechum

I liked Halloween , nightmare on elmstreet, and friday the 13th. they didn't scare me though. I've never been frightened by a slasher. Halloween 1978, opening scene scares me a little. the kid killing his sister.

silence of the lambs scared me when I was a kid. I still get freaked out by the music at the start for some reason.

none of the remakes are any good. all shit

lol. my aunt had to leave the room while watching Hannibal. I thought it was a pretty light hearted film.

  • @Rowan07001484 I wish they would stop making so many remakes, the Friday The 13th remake is so horrid... I am working on a slasher animation myself with inspirations from the old good Slashers, I'm not expecting anyone to be scared but I appreciate good stories and hopefully likeable characters. It is called "The Crimson Murders" but it won't be ready for a while, but you can see my other animations in my channel :)

  • I'm pretty sure that's the same little boy from Poltergeist.

  • lol the street address is 13666; 13 & 666 are both numbers with negative connotations. They put that on a little thick :P

Good movie though. Thank you for uploading it.

  • @GaoAsaurusG you're welcome :)

  • @EbonyEyz23 it is a great movie with great acting, if they remade this movie now, the acting would be so fake and it would not be good, old movies are much better than new ones

  • Made for TV movie. I believe ABC. That's the reason for lack of blood and gore. Good film though! Took me years to track down that copy on tape as well!

  • @PopCulture360 even though there is no blood and gore, it is still good and spooky with spooky music and good acting, new movies cannot compare to this even with all their blood and gore, new movies have such horrible acting and horrible music :( even though I was born in towards the end of the 90's old movies were the movies I watched in my toddler times, I am so grateful that I am not one of those people who likes new movies like those awful Twilight movies, thank goodness :)

  • @Kreechum Well said! You have great taste :}

  • @PopCulture360 thank you :)

  • The 80's were so cool..Glad I got to grow up in this time period...I would of hated to have to grown up in this day and age.. O_o

  • @disposablefreedom you are so lucky, I was born in 1997 so I had to grow up in this dreadful time period but I isolate myself from my peers and I watch old movies that are wonderful, I wish I could have experienced the 70's and 80's :( at least their movies can help me with that :)

  • Oh God can't believe I found this, saw it in the 1980s (as a child) and it terrified me. Well done for putting it up.

  • @robertfoy100 you're welcome :) you are very lucky to have experienced the 80's as a child :) I unfortunately was born in the 90's and only experienced very little of that and grew up in the dreadful 2000's :( but I appreciate lots of things from the 80's and 70's :)

  • @Kreechum I shouldn't live too much in the past if you're only 15. But you're right about horror films, psychological horror like this has gone out of vogue and it was so much better than the blood and gore. I don't know why they bother with the violence in horror, this genre is only frightening if it is psychologically disturbing. They still make good films in the Indie sector (I don't like Hollywood), but not horror. Thanks again for putting it up though, remember seeing it but not the name.

  • Thanks for posting. I'm sure I caught this when I was just a kid. Until now, all that remained that a snippet of Oliver Robins getting the frisbee off the roof. I thought I never find out what movie that was from. Mystery solved!

Too bad that watermelon was ruined. I hated to see such a loss.

  • @thewindymill you're welcome, I really appreciate all these old movies, I wish I was around in those days, when movies were much better, today's movies are dreadful :( I do my best to discover the old classics and if I am able, I would post them for all to see, this was the only one I was able to post so far, all my other videos are animations, I hope you could see them too

  • @Kreechum I don't believe this. You are 14 years old and are uploading? You sound about 25 at least. I was born in 1929! At 14 I was seldom alowed to see any movies with violence, sex, or too much blood. I could wear no makeup. :Had the saddle oxfords, (brown/white) and the Peter Pan collar. I have seen so much, and am so glad...I was born then. You will never again see life so sweet, and honest. I fear for the kids of today. Take care and bless you.

  • @HeatherGlen33 I wish I was 25, I've had my account since 4th grade but I didn't start uploading anything until middle school, I only made an account because I had nothing to do and I was tired of things on TV, not all 14-year-olds are dumb and obnoxious and type with bad spelling. I hate people my age and I am so ashamed of my generation :( I don't wear makeup and have sex like most girls my age do, I don't do drugs or anything and the adults in my life don't care about me

  • Who give dt movie title , ya it was horrible...

  • @Sunshine110b if you hate it then go somewhere else

  • routh gordon from jimmy the kid is this true she was fames in 60s 70s 80s wow she so pretty cute lady

  • thank u so much for uploading this movie! I've had a hard time finding this movie anywhere for years, ur right, it is unheard of. I remember this movie from when i was a kid. The ending scared the hell out of me as a kid. lol

  • that boy is such a brat

  • @TheLoveOfTheCattle the girl is worst! such a little BITCH!

  • Thanks so much for this! I always liked Dennis Weaver.

  • @meddetect10 you're welcome :)

  • @ 1:12:15 I yelled OH NO

  • Quality cast. Valerie Harper is always great at playing a mom; one of the best. And the moment I saw Dennis Weaver was in this, I knew it was not going to be horrible. "Duel," one of the best films ever, rip. And the kid playing Kevin is about the only child actor who didn't annoy me. He was in 'Poltergeist' too, obviously. Always liked him. Actress playing Jennifer is BEAUTIFUL. Ruth Gordon = Legend! Thnx for the movie, I love VHS rips!

  • @WarRogers I think everyone did a great job in the movie, not one person annoyed me, I wish movies that were made now were not so horrible, now movies make children mute or talk in monotone and the music isn't spooky in new movies either. I am sad that my generation only goes for bad movies that have no story or good acting, I wish I was alive in 1982

  • I have been searching for this movie for a while. Thanks for sharing, this is one of the best horror films I have ever seen. They dont make them like this anymore.

  • @kebrasp I agree so much, movies now don't have natural acting or spooky music anymore :(

  • Don't film fool you, although it was a very low budget TV horror film. It happens to have one of the creepiest and scariest endings I've ever come across.

  • @rockerdave69 older movies were good at being creepy, movies made now are just plain obnoxious and have no good plots or good acting anymore... Maybe because today's movies target people with no attention spans

  • bored to death like shit.fuck off

  • @armanidavincci then go play in traffic if you're so bored, no one asked you to watch this.

  • @Kreechum sori

  • By the way dennis weaver was in a detective show (John Denver sung Colorado )

in the back as he rod off on a horse NOW SEEING THIS i've just learnt to play the

song (harmonica) THANK YOU EVER SO MUCH.

  • @athenasword1 you're welcome :)

  • Oh! Look, It's Chester Goode from my favourite western show - GUNSMOKE

I always thought he was putting on that accent BUT , live and learn (I think it was a bit?????????)

  • That's the way to do it!!!!

  • Damn.... Now i want pizza

  • @RegRage1000 me too

  • cool i know this movie! thanks for the post!

  • this movie is scary unlike other ol movies

  • @rouge2294 other old movies are scary too, their so much better than the crap they make now

  • Robbie from Poltergeist lol

  • So Rosemary remarried, had plastic surgery, changed her name to Rhoda ; I mean Laura and had three babies; all apparently the spawn of satan. AAA +++ movie.

  • Dennis Weaver was a good actor but had a boring voice.

  • @GinoongJojo I think his voice was fine

  • @Kreechum Me too, and I always thought he was nice looking and of course, an excellent actor. I used to have a landlord that looked just like him.. and his name was Dennis too lol

  • DEATH BY IGUANA!!!! XD

  • thanks,Ive seen dennis more in gunsmoke.

  • This is scarier than Howard the Duck.

  • I had been searching for this movie for a while, I remember seeing it when i was really young. I had a really vivid memory about a little girl going up the stairs and grinding a pizza cutter up the railing...really eery. Thanks for posting this movie!

  • @cmcparland79 you're welcome :)

  • Solid work of art. Ruth Gordon's sublime as usual. Thanks for the nice job.

  • @hortiza they don't make movies with good acting anymore :( movies made now always look so made up and phony :(

  • Great atmosphere. Thanks for the upload :)

  • @HungerCultFilms you're welcome :) sorry for being 2 months late I just found this comment right now, sometimes youtube doesn't tell me when I get a new comment :(

  • @Kreechum the acying in this film is great. dennis weaver warm as always

  • @hill0ck666 thanks I found this movie on youtube but it was cut into different parts and it had annoying Spanish Subtitles so I found a torrent that didn't have that problem, it was hard to find though
