  • Nice sounding 327 but all small journals 62-67 had a steel crank. That Roller Cam makes that motor jump. Are you saying this is a big journal if it is you might as well have a 350.

  • Best 327 on youtube...or maybe it just sounds really good!

  • Hi Guy's ok,,, what would you do on a 65 falcon sprint with a 289 and 4 spd?

would you bore the 289 and roller cam it?

Or get a newer 302, and do the same to it with good headers, and good manifold?

Im kinda up in the air on this as to which way to go on this car?

  • @kirkconway

Get the 302, best engine ford has ever made. Nice 4 inch bore.

  • One thing to remember which the builder may have forgot is it`s easy to get it to the point of valve float when it`s running on a engine stand because there`s no flywheel or torque converter attached. Without them any engine revs super fast.

  • @DoubleVisionandco

thats called MSD like he said RIGHT ON THE CHIP 6,000

  • @s10kid100 How would I know what he said? I can`t make out a word he`s saying.

  • i can NOT hear anything that you are saying.

  • this IS the gun to a camaros holster

  • The hair on my arms is standing up right now... DAMN I need that...

  • sounds good ",

  • can anyone say snappy?

  • valve float

  • @thebigsuperbeatle nope rev limiter 6000rpm

  • ohhhhh ahhhhhhh!!!!

  • what !?!?! i cant hear you over the awesome.

  • I recently bored my 68 corvette 327 block to a 355 and it was terrible learning the new low rpms. my old 327 loved 7.5k rpms. my new one dosent even like 6k i feel like shes being revved too hard if i go by 5.5k

  • @mastaajbomb Did you change the stroke?!?! with more swing,of course it's not going to rev as hard, but it'll make more torque. You want it to rev? lighter pistons/rods better cam etc. will do the trick. A 327 has a 3.25 stroke, 350 has a 3.48 stroke. In case you didn't know....

  • @hobbeekid yeah everythings changed. Morin engine builders built it for me. Its a race build. But i had a stock rear end so i have to limit hp to about 400

  • @hobbeekid whats a 283 have stroke wise...dont google it lol...oh and how far can you bore out a 283 block without turnin it into junk

  • @VegaWgn the 283 has a 3.00" stroke with a 3.875" bore 283 block with enough materiel ,could go out to no more than4.00 if your lucky. but why bother with that junk when you have the option of a new dart block that will make 4x's the power?

  • @hobbeekid yea but im old school...we didnt have dart blocks back in the days

  • @VegaWgn But now you do. Time to take advantage of new technology... :-)

  • whats the compression?

  • that thing is wicked. enough said

  • Just took my Camaro for a 180 mile ride to the Hemmings car show in VT. This 327 did not skip a beat. 360 miles total. At the show, many people wanted to know what was under the hood! It sounds great with the GM chambered exhaust. Still have not opened it up, but will after an oil & filter change.

  • Sounds like a real stout 327. One of the better ones I've heard in a while.

I enjoy your medly of various videos.

Additionally i've been trying to get an idea of the sound of a 406 Im building. Wont have it done for a few months, but Im anxious to hear it. Anyways, I was wondering if you had something similar that I can hear and have it keep me company over the next couple months. My specs: 406, 9.8:1 AFR 195, Lunati 60104.

  • This engine is no longer in my Vega. It now has a home in my 68 Camaro. This motor runs GREAT, They did a great job!! Its hooked to a Auto Gear M22 4-speed & 12 bolt W/410 gears.

  • Revving the engine like that under no load is a great way to re-examine the rods...when they come out the sides of the block...healthy sounding 327 though, very responsive...

  • this motor is really resposive off idle nice combo

  • aw come on its a 327, its just begging to be pegged out at 7500- lol they love rpms

  • It's good to see a highrise dual plane intake. They are so underrated

  • I had Doug build this motor for my 76 Cosworth Vega. I just started it for the first time on 01/24/10 It runs great, wish he had not reved the piss out of it though. I trust Pro Formance Unlimited.

  • A ford 300 6 cylinder will rev up fast with NO torque converter, NO water pump, heck, there isnt even a belt whatsoever. I have a 327 Im not knocking it. But when it throws the belt at 7500rpm the car jumps forward noticeably. This guy Probably builds a great engine,I just see through the pitch.

  • From what i understand he has been in business a while and he wouldn,t have survived if he was full of shit.

    No business does.

  • so fast revving. 327s rock

  • 327 was the best motor chevy made...

check out my rebuild 327 motor....

    schneider cam...

  • Oh my god i want this
