It's not a glitch. You just need to have enough patience (OMG!) to stand in place for at least 4 seconds until he starts moving forward. THEN you can start getting around him. And make sure you're not counting too fast. Just wait until you see him getting closer, then try to get around him.

@luigimario970 OK, it's been 6 months but still THE MSX USES THE SCC CHIP! Gxscc emulates the scc chip. Just because the it doesn't sound like the 8-bit systems most people are familiar with does not mean it's not 8-bit. What i'm trying to say is, if the MSX is 8-bit, then GXSCC is 8-bit.

Yeah, that's no glitch. He moves faster each time you throw him. You can easily backflip over him. Point of interest: after you DO pick him up again, if you throw him off the side, he will revert back to his old, slow self. There's no point if you've already got him, though. =P

No, it is a glitch. I don't know what triggers it, but he randomly starts turning at the exact same speed as Mario, so even a backflip won't fix the problem. The only way to fix it is to let him grab and throw you.

The battle with King Bob-bomb? It was easy, though there was a glitch in the game that activates randomly when Mario successfully throws him.

The end result, is that King Bob-bomb automatically turns to face Mario at the exact same speed Mario moves, instead of his usual slow pace, making it literally impossible to get behind him to grab and toss him without letting him first grab and toss you to correct the glitch.
