i dont make claymation .. i like make stop motion( pretty much the same thing)but i bought claymation studio from best but thinking it would be a totally different thing. i thought that you would be able to make or animate clay figures on it... but i waswrong you just choose the pictures you want it to show. and its practicly... A SLIDE SHOW!!!!!!!!!!! THAT REALLY MAD E ME MAD!!! but i was playing around with it one day and i found out you can switch the fram rate ...

Yeah. Takes hours (2 days, last time) for it to come out, unless you get that painters' soap that has little microbeads in it, which hurts (and still kinda leaves some still on, that's how stubborn it is).

But alas, that is the price we must all pay for being claymators (I just coined a new word!  YAY!!!).

i dont use any special clay (rose art clay lol) and most of my objects including helmets and swords are legos.

You can just go to some place like Michaels and just buy the cheap clay. That's what I use; it mixes well (see Infection of the Blobs).

Lol I can relate to that. 10 fps on every single one of my videos. I'll start using like 20 or something as soon as I have the time, but school's about to start.

it's actually quite easy. all you have to do is have a computer (u must have one), a digital camera, and a software (there is usually a free trial)

Just a helpful pointer, I just went to Best Buy and bought a Logitech Quikcam (Quick*?), it comes with almost all the software. Then you just go to Google and look up Logitech Image Studio (don't go to the website-it's too hard to figure out). It should be the first or second link.

Also, I use Ulead Video Studio for my editing. I also have Adobe (it's like the movie equivelant of Photoshop), but I can't figure it out.

Just plug it all into a laptop, get a decent background, and that's it.
