Although I'm sure they were trying to connect the "blue crew" to the blue telephone, the popularity and influence of the blue phone being connected with Nationwide Insurance is an oversight on their part. The first two times I saw this commercial I thought it was an advertisement for Nationwide Insurance. The message was lost because I thought it was just part of the joke of the Nationwide commercials.
