well she didnt really have a lot of time to say goodbye when she was leaving for HM. and she was only allowed to say goodbye to one person. so she went to ichigo. which i dont think is a traitorish thing at all. i mean if u suddenly had to leave the earth who would u say goodbye to? the person u love or ur bff. if it were me i would go to the person i love.
its kinda like if the world was about to end who would u wanna be with thing. most ppl would grab the ppl they love and kiss them. and also she does mention how she would like to say goodbye to all her friends including tatsuki. so its not like she didnt even think of her.and i like HM arc becuase it has a lot of ichihime-ness but i have to admit i think its getting kinda boring with the whole fight with niottora and nel being an espada. like i sed before i hope and wish ichihime will happen.
And the only reason you like the SS arc a lot better is because
1) orihime had little character development then. Shes developed and is the 3rd main character now. Yes right underneath rukia
2) Orihimes "crush" on ichigo has developed into love. And yes she does love him "5 lives one love" such powerfull words
3) Rukia isnt in the spotlight. And the spotlight is ichigo saving orihime, just like SS. Ichigo went to save orihime becuase he cares for her not because he felt like he owes her.

I like both Rukia and Orihime, but I think it'd be best if Orihime did go with Ichigo. I love this AMV, and have fallen completely in love with this song.
