Interesting comparison of (lead) guitar styles in the break, Mr Murray:) I just love the Strat/wah combination and have always used it. But, as it happens, I have only just returned to the bluesy style. I'd left it alone for so many reasons since about the mid 70s. I'm glad to see someone else recording sans band; I'd kind of hidden amongst them for years, but it's nice to just open the sound out and go for less is more (which is not the case with Gary Moore, RIP)

I'm an Alex, not a Rudy - I just use that as an onomatopoieic thing - rudydidleyetc Yes, Belly button is one of my favourite tracks as are all of Jimi's songs:) Funny you should say comfy jacket - I think jeans same-same. Cos I'd actually written but deleted another point which I'll include now - I stopped playing blues about mid 70s for various reasons. Now I'm in a new band and acknowledging what the blues has done for me and what it is to me, anyroad up, talk again later:)
