Totally agree with Gufberg! You really become connected with your Sheperd as you play through until you cant really envision anyone else, ive been on a lot of other RPGs where you can customize your character and not felt the same way!

ME is one of the greatest RPGs ever, and from what we have seen ME2 will just take it to the next level!

I really love the way one can customize his Shepard.

It means whenever i see someone else playing Mass Effect with their own character i cant help but think "Thats not the real shepard.." cause im so used to looking at my own, thus really painting an individual image of a hero :).

It's a shame that Bioware's MMO isn't one of their original creations like Mass Effect or Jade Empire, a good MMO based around those sort's of universes is seriously needed on the market IMO, plus those universes are uniquely awesome. But seeing as IT is Bioware afterall SWTOR, knowing Bioware won't have the ZOMG heaps of bugs which most MMOs suffer from on a constant basis (I hope anyway), and unlike SWG have a nice set of balanced classes and have good gameplay.

It's alright really. Star Wars is the best IP for BioWare to be making a MMO with. The Star Wars IP is already highly established, with 30-40 years worth of works and a really big fanbase. A MMO needs players to make it worth playing. Big IPs are easy to sell.

Check how the flaps open down to make the cobra trick, while in actual versions of Mass Effect the Normandy only makes it's more aerodinamyc shape. Weird uh??

Saren...

In teh beginning of the game, you want him dead cuz he orderd to attack Eden Prime. As you countinue in the Story, you get his motivation. Man that guy tryed to safe the galaxy, in his way. When he shot himself in the end, i had to acknowledge him with applause.

Saran is a great antihero.

Agreed. I'm glad I played more Hero, and led myself to that conclusion. It was a lot more rewarding especially the first time around. I played again as Renegade, but it just didn't feel as great. =] Saren was seen as a coward, but he redeemed himself in the end with that beautiful cinematic moment.

Every time I watch a mass effect video I always see a comment about how someone hates Saren. Honestly I don't even see how he is the bad guy. If you actually listen to the dialouge and watch the cutscenes you will see that he believes that he is saving the people from extinction. Also toward the end of the game you can make him commit suicide through guilt for what he has done. Anyway all I'm trying to say is that I don't get how anyone can percieve him as the bad guy.

What I liked about Mass Effect was getting to choose the path of your charactor. (Descision wise and such ...) The graphics are pretty good too and I love all the charactor personalitys and just the general work put into the charactors.

The storyline was great in my opinion and overall it was a fairly entertaining game.

Who said those were Protheans? How do we know the 'Protheans' weren't just another conglomeration of species like the Citadel Races? ;D

Most facts point to those statues being a good representation of what the Protheans might have looked liked, but so far, very little about Prothean history or culture has been revealed in Mass Effect, so pretty much all guesses are valid at this point. Guess we'll have to wait for ME 2 in order to find out more. :D
