  • I love this, I just wish that she would wear a helmet! Not wearing one is a bit of a peeve of mine, but i guess it is another gesture of total trust. So impressive, i'd pay to be trained by her!

  • I almost cried. I have a passion for hroses. Worked with them for years and still go very often, to have this kind of connection with a horse is simply amazing. I have only had one horse that I truly connected with. It is an amazing feeling.

    Well done Stacy, well done.

  • pure amazingnesss!!!!!!!! :)))

  • Wow!!! Not many people can ever do such a thing...I can ride without reins but not without rains And without saddle...It was AMAZING.

I can't speak for anyone else but that brought tears to my eyes...

  • Haha I can picture that horse saying WEEEEEE when he spins

  • 14 People don't like Tim McGraw

  • ok....... I ride since two years. I sometimes tried for fun to ride without saddle... and guys... this is a dozend times HARDER then it looks. Iam not a fan of natural horsemanship, but both, rider and horse are class.... simply class.

  • that was total awesome to watch ,it brought tears to my eyes. Your father would be so proud of you, knowing that you did it for him 10 out of 10

  • if i had my own horse i would learn to connect with my horse like this... barback is how i am most comfortable

  • It's beautiful because it's so simple to watch. Stacy is dressed elegantly -- not flashy or distracting. Roxy is completely tackless. They go out there and put on a show of very complex, amazing riding without gimics or distractions. It's just so... Pure.

asking, you have such a strong bond with that stunning horse xxx

  • I would have rated it a '10' if she would've ridden the horse barefeet as well. The spurs costed her 1 point

  • Wow! What a terrific performance of communication between horse and rider... bareback and with no reins! Just goes to show what real love can do! I want to do this one time before I die. THANK YOU FOR POSTING THIS VIDEO! It was just like being there, for so many special moments at hand.

  • What breed?

  • I used to do this with my old horse Kai. He was a scrawny black horse. Tennessee Walker. Whata sweet boy. i lost him to disease. He was only 13.

  • @HorsesRLifee i'm very sorry to hear...and not every horse wil be the perfect horse for you...those are once in a life time things...and sometimes...people dont find the horse that will do anything for them...and do it with happyness....i miss my horse casmo so much!!

    Lovely. Poignant.

  • This is amazing!!!

  • Fabulous to watch! My Welsh Cob and I do the same, obviously she isn't as well trained we still have only the strap around her neck to steer her and she can't do the reining stops, but she rears up on command and does everything else, hopefully we will get to her level soon!!!

  • That is amazing is that actually you or someone else

  • she inspires me so much....

  • she inspires me so much....

  • What's amazing is, how well trained the horse is.

  • i thought she was gonna start riding while standing up. i'm glad she didn't because then i would have fainted out of my chair with happiness.

  • i used to do all of it when i used to own a horse but that was 7 years ago and i have forgotten all of it now but im hoping to have riding lessons soon

  • When I was seven, I started off at a western barn. I ended up riding their stallion bareback without "proper" reins (He had a bit, and headstall, but we used a leadrope) for two years. I've switched over to english and it's sad to say its much harder to do things like this in that feild-though my very first English instructor told me that she rode like this, without reins or a saddle, and that every rider should be able to, or attempt to do it. I can't wait to get a horse to do it with myself.

  • i'm no horse expert, but that babe looks pretty damn happy.

  • honestly i dont like american horses but that horse is amazing, what an amazing preformance and i take my hat off to you, well done x

  • omg im like crying!! shes so amazing..very inspirational. :)

  • that is amazinfly awesome!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Oh yes, that is awesome! I do bareback riding/jumping as well but I don't have half of her skills and experience.

  • Someday I'll be riding the mountains in Wyoming with a horse like that... :) Free as the wind and no care in the world...

  • How come 10 people dislike this?... She's amazing and the horse is just adorable.

How come can you be so miserable to dislike this?....

  • Your AMAZING Stacy, Luv'd it.. All the best to you sweetheart... Your dad's up there looking down on you, & feeling so PROUD!!!

  • AMAIZING trained that is just what I call a bond

  • When horses are ridden without their tack on, I think they become more beautiful because they look so natural.

  • @xXUndeadChickXx Indeed! :D

  • Thats probly my bigest goal in life!! Thats just AUH-MAYZING!!

  • aaaaa you are realey good on this, have you hittat this or somthing els: )??

  • i am BIG fan of Stacy Westfall,i went to a Ohio horse thing and we were waiting and she came in riding her family's horse pop corn i think XD i love Roxy to. She looks great in this vid :D

  • shes amazing! this video is beutiful!

  • The most beautiful video I have ever seen. I lost my dad recently and this video touched me very much. Thank you for posting and thank you Stacy.

  • Amazing!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • go stacey very nice seat

  • go stacey

  • This is amazing. This and Blue Hors Matine are some of the most impressive videos out there. This is probably the wrong place to post this, but I think Clinton Anderson's mare, Mindy, just seems more balanced. She's definitely on the vertical better than Wizards Baby Doll. And I'm not a fan of how she stands right on the horse's spine at the end. Either way, they're both a lot better than me!

  • Wow, that was soo amazing . Great horseman ship !!!! :D

  • Her horse know what she want from him, because of shifting of weight and focusing. I'm learning it too know from GaWaNi Pony Boy :)

  • this is amazing!!!!!!!!

  • THAT WAS AWESOME! I'm Sydney and I ride horse's, english and it is my life!!! I Love Horse's to death... I know how to Walk, Trot, ana Canter. I really enjoyed that video!! You are the best bareback rider and bareback rider WITHOUT reins ever. I feel really bad for your dad but I'm glad u folloed your dream!

  • wow shes good

  • amazinggg.....

  • Now that there is true horsemanship! Great job!

  • fantastic

  • amazing sliding stops and standing on the horse!?!?!?!?!?!?!? I love bareback but I really wish I could do it like that!

  • What can one say except....... WOW! sorry about your dad stacey!

  • Its amazing how much that horse trusts and luvs her. That preformance took time and trust. It show....it shows that its TOTALLY AWWWSOOME. :)

  • everytime i watch this video I cry. I love this clip it is so awesome!!!!!

  • Love this - Stacy is truly amazing!

  • SHE IS AMAZING

  • How could anyone actually give something like this a negative rating... This is pure heart felt performing... Awesome.

  • Man this video is awsome....

  • That is so amazing.....what a wonderful bond between horse and rider!

  • Wow - this is some awesome riding and training!

  • omg ive never seen anything like this before your the best omg like seriously thats insain like im speachless OMG

  • it was brillant but i think u are capable of doing things more extrem like rearing or bucking and mabey even jumping but i mean small jumps that are only about 20 or 25 because you are a brilliant rider

  • Inspirational. In more ways than one.

  • Beautiful.

  • balance is definately very important while riding a horse i fell off jst last night cuz i was bein lazy

  • i love the way the horse responds to u i have been working so hard with mine lately im gettin close its just a lot of patience i am teaching my tennessee walker how to bow

  • horsemanship at its hight hatts of to the rider and wonderful horse

  • I agree.....I really enjoy seeing a "relationship" between the rider and the horse. I've never been impressed with the "whip it so it'll jump through hoops for me" mentality. I like seeing a horse do "realistic" tasks.

  • please tell me the reason for writing unfriendly stuff?yes..it looks as her horse is trained..well aren't you training??i think if you can do this performance as well as her, then you can badmouth her.

  • That's really great ♥ :)

  • cool video!

  • thats totally amazing!!!! WWOOWW

  • wow, amazing rider tbh.

  • does anyone know how to do that? can u message me with tips? please?

  • just all leg ques...my reinner can do it bridless but i think id have to prectice like crazy bareback lol i couldnt see myself staying on for more than 1 spin :P lov this

  • Flawless!

  • She and the horse are incredibly trained. She could not do this on any horse, at least not without training, im sure. what she is doing is INCREDIBLY difficult to do.

  • Can she do this on any horse, or has she trained this horse to react to certain hand gestures that she is doing (when she strokes him) and obviously other things?

  • she has trained her horse

  • @nsc217 If she knew the horse, the basic stuff should be fine, usually it's trained and knows the rider well, especially for standing on the back etc

  • Stacy westfall u r my hero (second to Brittany Pozzi-Pharr)

  • This is amazing. Plain and simple. It is now, literally, my life goal to try and gain these types of skills. AMAZING.

  • SHE IS AWOSOME

  • Whhooaaaa look at that spinning at 1:30 i feel dissy now wwaaaa :( ( :D) whhhoooaaaa even more spinning i cant cope HHEELLPP eeekkkk

  • what an amazing horse

  • Amazing performance. Beautiful horse

  • ud have to b pretty talented to b able to do this!

  • crazy awesome

  • i want to be able to do this... i can ride bareback, but the horse i ride can be spooky, but i tay with him, but im trying to work up to it...

  • 8D i've met her before! i have her autograph on a poster of her!

  • I was taught to ride bareback before I was allowed to have any tack. This is how a horse should be ridden. So many riding teachers teach their students to almost be at war with their horse. Like you have to force them to do what you want by using aggression and pain. But this girl and many others show the real way of riding a horse... being friends with the horse!

  • @ByeByeBelly Yeah, my instructor Corrie always has us give em lots of loves after we canter em a few rounds around the arena. :D All the horses at the ranch I ride at are awesome, someday I wanna be riding free like the wind like her. ^_^

  • @ByeByeBelly Exactly. I wish my mom and riding instructor would let me ride this way...

They say I am too inexperienced, and I tell them all of the friends I know that CAN'T ride with tack becasue it's too uncomfortable for them and their horse. They say that they are more likely to fall or hurt themselves, but honestly I think that you would have less a chance on a trustworthy horse because you almost have complete control... But hey. I have to "obey" till I can afford my own horse again.

  • @ByeByeBelly true bareback and stirrup less are the only ways to make good riders and I was taught this way too ... but one must never ride rein-less ... no matter how much confidence one has in his/her mount ...I have ridden most even-mannered horses and also the worst hard mouths ... however never rein-less ...

  • @Critic224 Why must one never ride reinless? You made the statement but never provided an explanation, or an example of what did/could happen to you. Please explain. Thanks.

  • @hollyboo21 one can ride without touching the reins, but u should always have them there, just incase something happens ie. a spook, or something along those lines... plus if u should fall off, and your horse get away from u, you have something to catch them with

  • she sure does love her horses!

  • Wow! but i am surprised sche is holding on in canter even i can do it bareback without holding on

  • Now thats what i wish i could do. All leg pressure and shift in weight, fine tuned and practiced till these cues are almost invisible. Takes a special horse too
