I think a lot of celebrities are exploiting children. Now, the third world countries are guilty of abusing and neglecting their population, but I feel this will lead to more people casually adopting children. I love her music, but she seems to selfish and mean to be a mother--she kind of reminds me of Joan Crawford--a lot of celebrities (not all, but most) are known for being narcisstic, mean and spoiled. some celebrities are genuinely concerned about the well-being of third world children. adopting third world children in developing countries could potentially protect them from a higher likelihood of death, especially in the more devastated areas. with this said, the intent of madonna is still highly questionable but her arguments for adopting nevertheless, merit some aspect of helpfulness.
