1000 sources map is WELL hard tip: get the repel water knowledge before you start digging ONLY DIG FOR SAND aT the VERY edge of the map otherwise you unearth water holes and the map fills up with the water NOT getting drained!

Imagine a PvP battle in this game (Although, I don't think it has multiplayer):

God 1sends a stream of lava towars God 2's villagers

God 2 protects his villagers by pouring water on the lava, making a wall of rock around his village, forming a bowl

God 1 goes for the jugular and fills the newly formed bowl with soil or water, drowning God 2's villagers/burying God 2's villagers alive.

God 2 earthquake's God 1's village in revenge.
