  • One of the related videos was the red green show, I died laughing

  • I'd really like to see a video about brushed vs brushless DC motors

  • Zip ties for the win... Almost.

  • That is probably the funniest, yet best use of zip ties I have seen.

  • the use it in oldschool lights to to transfur power to the bulbs that are turning

  • For temporary wiring you could do with a 'safeblock', a device that has crocodile clips and a switch, the uk version also has a fuse, one should be permanently mounted on or near the autopsy table.

  • Should that not be called the rotor instead of armature ? its AC so they would be armature windings/rotor windings on the rotor.

  • hm if that's a dell latitude D630 in the back i hope its for an Autopsy cus it sux!

  • So, Chris... how close are you to having every screwdriver imaginable?

  • @ambrandt420 The Geek Group has a massive tool library availible to its members. The tools used in the autopsy videos are a different set from our main tools though. The toolbox featured on the set here is used only for the autopsy videos.

  • you need a "suicide lead" (a nick name my dad had for them in the 45 years he spent as a technician), its a power cord with alligator clips on the end about 1.5 mtrs long. good for quick testing, and offing yourself if your not careful, although better than the jank you made LOL and is your table earthed?

  • The sander has a sad smilie face ._.

  • @Intosia And the socket on the extension had a surprised face.

  • Pneumatic tools are interesting inside, Particularly impact wrenches or "Rattle Guns", Good autopsy!

  • can we send you dead tools to autopsy?

  • If the sander kicked on, I thought for sure that wire was gonna shake and touch the table lol

  • i killed so many of those sanders in my shop class lol.

  • Get a quick connect tester block- failsafe, fused and quick+much safer.

  • @darksecond less than half :)

  • "I got black to hot"

IT'S AC god damn it! It doesnt CARE if it is black to hot or red to hot =P

    - Something that is proved by the lovely shuko plugs someone sent you.

Love the new style with the shots of the autopsy subject in the beginning =)

  • Hay Chris your working on a metal table with electricity. Just thinking that if the hand sander or some other thing your powering up on the table were to energize the table you could get shocked or killed. Is the table grounded? If not please use some sort of insulating pad on the table before you power something up again. I don't want to see my favorite You Tube guy hurt.

  • Sexual jokes at 7:31

  • i must ask.....where did you get your current gerber?

  • With all the things you got in the lab you have no plug with well isolated screw terminals on the other end? It would have been safer, if you stuck the wires directly into the socket. ;)

  • DON'T FORGET TO DONATE AS WELL!!! :D

  • unsafe? it's only 110, half of the normal mains voltage :D

  • @darksecond In the states, 110 is normal mains for residential wiring

  • Wow... somewhere around last year I remember seeing Chris curse like mad about some electrical wiring in the new lab saying it was all crap and stuff... what I just saw in this video is equal to that... and Chris seems to be perfectly fine with it... :-)

  • @thiesenf Crap that is thrown together to just be used for 20 seconds is one thing, permanent wiring is a completely different thing.

  • @thiesenf yeah but b4 he decided to try the crude electricel connections he mad a weird or evil kind of face

  • I'm really liking the new style of the autopsy videos. The arty-farty video clips where they're playing with the focus on tools and such makes it seem a little more professional (go figure) and helps break up the video when you're doing something realllly boring like taking out a dozen identical screws from the back of a case.

As a thought... see if you can get someone with a little time and access to this channel to build a playlist of the autopsy videos.

  • "I'll put two on there for safety" yeah because when you are working with open power connections we are worried about the safety!

  • @clony101 on a metal table
