Foxstep CEO is playing 2D fighters now. he was big into guilty gear, now its the new street fighter 4. hes a buddy of mine....well highschool buddy i havent really hung out with him in the past few years. but another friend of mine still chats with him and plays fighting games with him.

2D games are the way to go now. I, too, have stopped playing Tekken ever since Tatsunoko vs. Capcom was released. I also play some SFIV now, but TvC is my primary game.

I don't think I was ever really the best Jin around. I was just the only Jin player around who was too stubborn to move on to better characters, but Jin just fit my style and I could play him as flashy as I could, but that didn't get me far. Not many people even play T5DR anymore, and no T6BR machine is close enough for me to make the effort to go out and play it. I might get back into Tekken once it's out on console, but for now, EVO TvC invitational is all I'm working towards.

heyyy sooo whats the key to being good with jin, cuz he's so slow, he gets whooped all the time. Im trying to learn him for online cuz i used jin since every tekken from tekken 3 onwards lol. But for Tekken online he is very slow...

Utilize his good pokes/poke strings: 2,1, f+3, d/f+1>4, most 1..., 1,3... or 1,2... attack strings... Punish crouched highs with WS+2, big whiffs with eCD+1, -15 stuff with u/f+4. Jin has lots of of good mids: CDS 1,2, f,f+2, f+4. Keep mind of spacing, and punish accordingly.

That was CDS 1,2 (b+1,1,2). Do keep in mind that this was T5DR and NOT T5.0 or T5.1. Jin got CDS 1,2 and CDS 3 as new attacks in T5DR.
