When you do the intro to the game, and your talking to the professor, figuring out who you are and stuff, does it make you use the touch screen? Because my DS Lite works with everything else, BUT the touch screen, I can click stuff on the touch screen with the buttons, but my touch screen just doesn't work, can I play this game without literally using the touch screen EVER? because I wanted to play Diamond and pearl the other day, and Rowan made me tap on the pokeball, but I couldnt. UGH.

@Mazzah96 I'm pretty sure you don't have to use the touch screen for anything EXCEPT when you would transfer Pokemon over from D/P/Pt or HG/SS after the game's end.

i think youre forgetting, torchic was a ripoff of cyndaquil, which was a ripoff of charmander. so technically tepig is a ripoff of charmander.

@carzyhawnguy I would say have a mixed team. Such as having one fire, one water and one grass type in your party to counter other trainers. It's a basic stratagy but effective.
