Re: the bait comment. Some trainers don't like to bait because they don't feel that you get a reliable performance training that way. Most pull clubs (at least the ones I've pulled in) don't allow bait. FWIW, I don't bait. Just command and praise. Good luck with the pulling. :)
It all depends on the club. You might want to reconsider the baiting, though, for a few reasons. A dog who's been baited isn't as reliable of a puller. Also, the baiting leads to the bouncing that you see in the video, which can cause injury and doesn't help get the cart moved any faster. Regards to you, too. Enjoy the sport. I love it.
I believe dogs pull better when they are not being baited. Most baited dogs will pull until it is to hard, dogs that pull with command and praise pull till the end!

In Poland we can bait our dogs on the competitions. I know that in other countries this is unacceptable.
