A good start for this new way to ride waves for sure! I was thinking skiing waves would enable some huge arcing bottom turns and sick stalling ability in the slot. I think it is an rad start and with more practice and better waves, this could be amazing.

Downside: You cannot start skiing from the spot, you always need to get towed once you fall or stop. In other words, you can waveski alone :p

I'm really fond of interesting novelties but that's pretty bad example of how things should not develop, just guess another step will be figure skating at Peahi or somethin'. I firmly stay of the conventional side of surfing, I mean go in paddle till its possible cos paddle in drop on a big one is somethin' not everybody can do and go tow in when really incapable to match the speed, just stupid watchin' people towing into 15-20 footers or somethin' when others do paddle in drops at 35-40ft
