Opinions make the world go around. However, when you have had a few drinks and you return to 1974 in your mind, then you are back there and you are remembering and seeing those Angel Faces. Sadly.........2010 is not 1974.......take the drinks away and the party is over. Pete Phipps appears to have found the fountain of youth in his Glitter Band and having Springy back on lead vocals can transform you back without the added drink. Add the drinks also and you have the true Glitter tonic!!!
Thank goodness that people like you aren't people like me,call your self a fan.What people forget is that JR wrote 5 Glitter Band singles more than any other member-jealousy stinks after all it is John Rossall playing all the Butlins and Rebellion again this year-its called 12 years of hard graft.Pete Phipps is ,resorting to devious ways to finish JR - we shall see, and all this does is diminish thier history,so miss glitter rock 2 u-Shame on YOU>perhaps I should post your email address.
@pleasuredome1 JR might have WRITTEN some of these songs, but that doesnt mean he can sing, he ruins those songs - the wrong tempo - he cant sing at all. Pete Phipps has the legal right to use the name Glitter Band FYO, JR needs someone to put him out of his misery, all John Rossall does is diminish the band's history, shame on you more likely. Pete and the band have had a tour last year of the Uk, didnt hear of JR doing too many gigs. Get a life
