There's something I don't understand. She can walk on water in this scene, but when she's with Tidus in the lake she sinks in. Just wondered about that...
i wish with all my heart and soul that they remake this game for ps3...to me this my first and best final fantasy game i have ever play..and it is also the best game i have ever play...the only game close to this one is zelda ocarina of time..
Thank god it's possible to run this game on pcsx2 with antialiansing to make it look even better than the original. This is most definately one of those games that have not aged 1 bit over time and still has best storytelling and characters ever made on any game. Im so hoping Square enix would try to make something as big as this in the near future. Long live the turn based RPG gaming .

It's not like they're saying Final Fantasy VII was superior, it was just the cast of characters and storyline most gamers that enjoyed Final Fantasy were associated with. It is because Sin (A huge monster) attacked the village and many died. Yuna is performing something called the sending to 'send' the dead's souls to the farplane. A place where the dead's souls reside. Sendings are neccesary because if the dead's souls aren't sent, they become fiends.
X and VII will always be my favorite Final Fantasies personally. I do love many of the others, but X and VII are just so special to me, I honestly hate it when people compare them and put either of them down, their both amazing in their own way. This is one of my favorite scenes of all time, it's breath taking. The emotion, the music, everything, I saw this before I played the game actually and wondered why everyone was crying. Now I understand...this scene for me is both beautiful and sad.
Fuck, this game is awful, if it weren't for the fact that the game had one of the most fun battle systems in the series and this one unsettling beautiful scene I would dare to condemn it as the worst game ever made by Squaresoft.

The core mechanics of all Final Fantasy games (yes even FF13) have remained the same only because of some changes it sometimes does appear that the games are different.
Mhm, compared to VII and VI I would not call X a classic, but defenitely a nice game to play. Of all games of the series to be "remade", I would have loved to see VII get a graphic makeover. A lot of people have never played VII, simply because they think that the old graphics are ugly. But story wise, X and the following ones don't hold a candle to VI or VII.
I will never forget the first time I saw this scene - I was honestly in tears at how beautiful it was. It's a credit to the design team that at that moment those weren't just pixels on a screen - there was emotional investment in the characters, their cause, and the gift she was giving in bringing peace to that village. It's rare to find such gorgeous storytelling in video games so I really treasure the little moments like this.

I find it really amusing that the really good CGI cutscenes in this game are actually not as good as the normal gameplay graphics in Final Fantasy XIII. I love seeing how graphics improve.

And all of the final fantasies can be played on the ps2 up to Final fantasy 12, after that they began being made on the xbox 360 and ps3. To start I would buy this game if i were you. :) Final fantasy 10 rocks and made me cry on multiple occasions, get it!
I came to this scene when the boxing day tsunami hit. It was scary. Whenever I think of this scene I think of all the homes destroyed then and the lives lost.

Not trying to be a pervert, but Square Enix is Really detailed, they even included Yuna's black bra :|. I lost fayth in the gmaes of today. The fact is, I think the older games were better. @zalgrad85 What I mean more of, is that it seems games have literally become multiplayer. MOst of the time, the really good games you hear of are like MW2 or Black Ops, or like tf2, counterstrike. While there are some good games out there, I feel like the story isn't as good as before. These games kept people hooked for months, loving the game. THey didn't have multiplayer. Now you include a good multiplayer system, and voila, everyone loves your game

Well action games are like big screen interactive movies, totally immersing you into the experience. Professional Voice Actors make you emphasize with the characters. Everything is a big suspense from start to finish. Tons of fun if you're into action. As for RPGs, well...those just got better and better after 2000

This is the game which made me me cry... And 4 me it is easy2 make me laugh and ake me sad or angry. But this and FF7(when Sepiroth killed Aeris) were 2 games which made me cry ..... And I like It FF is about the emotions.
Maybe it was just FFVII's popularity but so many people think that Aeris is the most beautiful and kind female lead. I don't know about you but I vote for Yuna
both are the best in the kind and beautiful area but Quistis and Rikku will always be my favorite characters. Even more than the male cast and the awesome Balthier and Fran.

@Pianoroxable Yuna was performing the "sending" to dead people's souls. Their families gone, it's why they're crying. This is one of the most sad scenes of the game.

Not trying to be a pervert, but Square Enix is Really detailed, they even included Yuna's black bra :|. I lost fayth in the gmaes of today. The fact is, I think the older games were better. Everything now follows a trend, is that same, final fantasy is all right now, but FFX will forever live in my heart

@zalgrad85 What I mean more of, is that it seems games have literally become multiplayer. MOst of the time, the really good games you hear of are like MW2 or Black Ops, or like tf2, counterstrike. While there are some good games out there, I feel like the story isn't as good as before. These games kept people hooked for months, loving the game. THey didn't have multiplayer. Now you include a good multiplayer system, and voila, everyone loves your game

@TheZombieGods Those games are FPS, and the majority allways had multi. Now about the story. Are you certain? Although I don't know what kind of genre but I guess you still mean fps. Well action games are like big screen interactive movies, totally immersing you into the experience. Professional Voice Actors make you emphasize with the characters. Everything is a big suspense from start to finish. Tons of fun if you're into action. As for RPGs, well...those just got better and better after 2000

@crazygirlychic97 Well, auto-battle, while optional, could take away from the game quite a bit. Then, i felt some characters were just wimps. While I am still playing it, I'm like over half way, or just halfway. I'll give you my opinion later

This is the game which made me me cry... And 4 me it is easy2 make me laugh and ake me sad or angry. But this and FF7(when Sepiroth killed Aeris) were 2 games which made me cry ..... And I like It FF is about the emotions.

this entire scene, the music and the beat to it, and Yuna dancing is just chillingly beautiful. But as soon as the fires turn blue its like shivers run up and down my entire body and get goosebumps. THIS is my favorite Final Fantasy
