Note that they only confront the men...there is nothing being done to help these women escape the relationship. I understand that some time miracles happen and a man can buck up. The problem here is that most domestic violence relationships continue. Why? Because the abuser always promises the victim they will change. Maury just enforced that with this show. Where are they now?: Unfortunately, Charity informs us that Micahel's new attitude lasted only about 3 days after the show taped. He quickly returned to his old abusive ways. But fortunately for Charity, her new found friendship with Stephanie gave her the strength to leave Michael once and for all. If the women would leave the men, they would just get more fucked up cause of them leaving and wouldnt change. Better to deal with a problem than run away from it, which is highly possible.
