We have two wonderful, cherished and very spoilt mini schnauzers and every second they fill our hearts with joy. This tribute brought a tear to my eyes because it's clear to see how much Penelope was loved. To love and be loved is all that matters and you very obviously gave your pet a wonderful, happy life full of love and joy. Thank you for reminding me that every day is special.
We lost our mini schnauzer Sadie a couple months ago. She was almost 15 and I had her since I was 5.... I miss my angel dearly bur know that she is with me now spiritually helping me conquer my struggles. I miss my Sadie...
I just lost my mini schnauzer Zeus to cancer two weeks ago today. He was my best buddy for 10 1/2 years and I miss him so much. Its amazing what a dog can do for your life and he did more for me than he will ever know. I feel your pain and I know you miss her very much.

What can you do really, we had to let our fourteen year old Doudone put to rest because of a tumor . We had her operated a year before and the vet warned us that it would come back....and it did. Still we gave her a years reprieve and it was worth it. For her and for us.
Today would have been my Schnauzer's 19th birthday, had she not passed a year and a half ago. Your video made me cry so much, because your beautiful Penelope looked just like her sister! I can totally relate to your intentions of remembering her, and being grateful for all these magical moments. Your video of your beloved Penelope was very moving.When my ex and I split up they took our schnauzer Jasper. I wanted to keep him but I loved my ex so much that I gave him up out of love. I would visit him whenever I could...I just found out that he passed away...sitting here crying as I type this...It took some years before I got another Schnauzer and her name is Jasmine...Such a sweet gal. She is my best friend. She is now seven yrs old. Thanks for sharing the video.
@Irishemerald12 - Thank you very much for your sweet comments. I can certainly relate to your feelings for Jasper (as well as Jasmine). It took me a good two years to get over the loss of Penelope. We only got her for 7 years - but she literally saved my family. After my marriage ended, my kids were living with my ex - and it wasn't pleasant. She later kicked them out and they moved in with me - but they were still hurting. I prayed for an answer to help my kids - and Penelope was the answer.

This video made me cry all over again. We know how you feel losing your dear doggie. We just had to put our dear black and white schnauzer, Max, put to sleep. He was 14. He had a degenerative nerve condition and had become lame and we knew he was in pain. Nothing harder than being a responsible owner and doing the right thing for your friend. We will miss him!
My wife and I are "owned" by our Mini Schnauzer-Lucy. Lucy is the love of our life. I didn't realize that something so small could be so much fun! She is a total joy to have.

Awesome song choice! My mini schnauzer Gus passed away of cancer at 13 on August 29th, 2010. Schnauzers are just such great people dogs. I learned many life lessons from our friendship and I know surely adopt another schnauzer.
I am so sorry you lost your little dog. My Miniature Schnauzer lived until she was sixteen years old! She died in 2000. I still miss her. On Sunday, we went to a major dog show and exhibition in London as we're thinking about getting another.
So many of your pictures reminded me of life with my schnauzer. They're so loving and so much fun. Mine has been gone for over 20 years and I still think about her all the time. I'm sorry for your loss.

She was 12 1/2 years old, and had Diabetes for 3 years. She was my little girl, so I know how hard it is to lose such a big part of your family. From the video, I can tell she was very loved. I had a miniature schnauzer named Todo who meant soOo much to me, and it is at the same time wonderful and heartbreaking to reflect on how much joy, love, companionship, laughs, snuggles, surprises, she gave to me and my family over the years. Tears rolling down my face as I grieve, again, the loss of my "little pal", Beatrice Abigail, my miniature schnauzer who I said goodbye to last December. she gave me unconditional love for more than 16 years, and this video reminds me again to be grateful for the time and the love. It is sooo hard when we loose a pet (family member) I have had Miniature Schnauzers for years, and each time that we loose one it is just a difficult as the previous. Sorry that you lost your fory very close friend....
I'm very sorry about penelope I have two mini schnauzers Toby and Luna. I don't imagine how our family would be without these two. I don't consider none of my dogs as pets they're all family. They wake us up in the morning, cheer us up in the afternoon and keep us company at night.
I'm so sorry for your loss...I have a 2yr old(more less)schnauzer named, Shadow, that I rescued. When I found him he was so small and skinny, and I'm so glad I took him in. I do not regret my decision. I love him so much, he truly brings happiness to me as well as my family....

Sorry for your loss. Very touching video. I would break down in tears if my mini schnauzars died. One of mine is blind and diabetic. The other is suffering for severe allergies. My schnauzars aren't perfect so I'm not trying to be mean. What did Penny die from?

that was so touching...i lost my 5 year old miniature schnauzer susie in january. she had kidney problems and alopecia so she had barely any hair. she was still my baby, though. even though people would make fun of her looks (she resembled a chinese crested with her tufts of hair), she and i always knew she was so smart and so happy even though she was sick. i still can't get over losing her. i'm so sorry for your loss. they're such great friends to have. i'll keep you in my prayers.

We had to put our miniature schnauzer down in November 2008. Hillary was 14 years old, and we were lucky to have her that long as she was diagnosed with cancer when she was 6. We were told to not expect her to live to 7, but she stuck around and was as playful as ever until the last year of her life. Even though we got another dog, I still miss Hillary.

Penelope looks so adorable..I am so sorry for your lost. I couldn't help but lower the volume the song was so touching. I have a miniature schnauzer myself her name is Tyra and I just love her to death.. She is 14 years old, blind and is losing her hearing.. so I could almost imagine how it feels to love a pet you love. I don't know how much longer I have with Tyra but I cherish every moment I do have with her.

@ursus262 Thank you for your note. You're very observant about the closeness of our family. That's in no small part due to Penelope. After some very hard times for my kids, Penelope came into our lives and brought all together with fun and love and her nurturing. My kids remain best friends to this day. Penelope was an amazing blessing to us all.

We just lost our Schnauzer, Jack - he was only 91/2 years - He got diabetis at age 7 and then went blind at 8 with cataracts - we did the operation he then had sight and lived well until he died of complications Feb. 10, 09. God we miss him. I am afraid to get another Schnauzer for their health and that he won't live up to our beloved Jack. That was a lovely tribute to your wonderful Schnauzer.

Thanks so much for this beautiful/touching video of your Schnauzer. My beloved schnauzer, Shania passed away last December, and not a day goes by that i don't think of her and get misty eyed. She was 12 1/2 years old, and had Diabetes for 3 years. She was my little girl, so I know how hard it is to lose such a big part of your family. From the video, I can tell she was very loved. Thanks for sharing your times with me. It warms my heart to see others love there animals so much too.

i just lost my miniature snhnauzer Jake 3 weeks ago. He was 15 years old and I still can not stop crying. I miss him so very much. Fortunatly I have another schnauzer, Lily who is 3 years old so we have each other. But I understand your loss. This video is really touching and i am so grateful that you posted it. I had a miniature schnauzer named Todo who meant soOo much to me, and it is at the same time wonderful and heartbreaking to reflect on how much joy, love, companionship, laughs, snuggles, surprises, she gave to me and my family over the years. I can't believe she is gone, but i know i will carry a bit of her spirit everywhere i go and hold the unconditional love close close close. Thank you for sharing Penelope with everyone.

What amazing little dogs Schnauzers are. We just got our Louie about three weeks ago he is only 13 weeks... He has been such a wonderful addition to our lives. Tears rolling down my face as I grieve, again, the loss of my "little pal", Beatrice Abigail, my miniature schnauzer who I said goodbye to last December. she gave me unconditional love for more than 16 years, and this video reminds me again to be grateful for the time and the love. I knew when she was alive how special a dog she was - and I thanked God for her every day. Goodbye, little Beatrice.

I had 3 more since then; Beamer an old NJ rescue who lived with my friend Adele until 15, Mrs. Wobbles I knew for 9 months as she had cancer at 14 when I rescued her. It was the best 9 months of our lives. Now, I have Mickey Mouse.He is 5 and I treasure every minute of his life as u did yours. Please get another schnauzer, Penelope will thank you for it! It is sooo hard when we loose a pet (family member) I have had Miniature Schnauzers for years, and each time that we loose one it is just a difficult as the previous. Sorry that you lost your fory very close friend....

I'm very sorry about penelope I have two mini schnauzers Toby and Luna. I don't imagine how our family would be without these two. I don't consider none of my dogs as pets they're all family. They wake us up in the morning, cheer us up in the afternoon and keep us company at night.

I'm so sorry for your loss...I have a 2yr old(more less)schnauzer named, Shadow, that I rescued. When I found him he was so small and skinny, and I'm so glad I took him in. I do not regret my decision. I love him so much, he truly brings happiness to me as well as my family....
ps. he looks soooo much like pennelope, except with a mohawk...

Sorry for your loss. Very touching video. I would break down in tears if my mini schnauzars died. One of mine is blind and diabetic. The other is suffering for severe allergies. My schnauzars aren't perfect so I'm not trying to be mean. What did Penny die from?

I have two mini schnauzers Harry (4) and Lola (3). Schnauzers are the most loyal and loving dogs. Thank you for the video because it makes love mine even more then ever.

that was so touching...i lost my 5 year old miniature schnauzer susie in january. she had kidney problems and alopecia so she had barely any hair. she was still my baby, though. even though people would make fun of her looks (she resembled a chinese crested with her tufts of hair), she and i always knew she was so smart and so happy even though she was sick. i still can't get over losing her. i'm so sorry for your loss. they're such great friends to have. i'll keep you in my prayers.

We had to put our miniature schnauzer down in November 2008. Hillary was 14 years old, and we were lucky to have her that long as she was diagnosed with cancer when she was 6. We were told to not expect her to live to 7, but she stuck around and was as playful as ever until the last year of her life. Even though we got another dog, I still miss Hillary.

Penelope looks so adorable..I am so sorry for your lost. I couldn't help but lower the volume the song was so touching. I have a miniature schnauzer myself her name is Tyra and I just love her to death.. She is 14 years old, blind and is losing her hearing.. so I could almost imagine how it feels to love a pet you love. I don't know how much longer I have with Tyra but I cherish every moment I do have with her.

I am so sorry for your loss. My schnauzer, Shotzie, is 13 years old and has health issues...I cherish every day I have with her....I lost my beagle last September and Shotize has grieved ever since...Schnauzers are so very loving. Thank for this.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Penelope looks like she was great dog, she's so beautiful. I also have a mini schnauzer, Sterling, he just turned 3 earlier this month. I hope that she will always stay in your heart as a special part of your life. I it's always hard to lose someone that you care about very much and that have helped you in such a special way, especially a mini they are such an awesome dog. :) Once again, i'm soo sorry about Penelope :(

My eyes got watery before I even started watching the video. She looks exactly like my Sophie did as a puppy. I gave her a huge hug after watching this, which I was only able to watch a few seconds of it unfortunately, or I'd start bawling. I'm so sorry she passed.

We are lost without our beloved Jack. He was our first Schnauser. Man I lked that dog. He was with us only 2 years. Jill his companion is lonely without hiim. We got her for him. Poor girl.

@ursus262 Thank you for your note. You're very observant about the closeness of our family. That's in no small part due to Penelope. After some very hard times for my kids, Penelope came into our lives and brought all together with fun and love and her nurturing. My kids remain best friends to this day. Penelope was an amazing blessing to us all.

This is so beautiful. Thank-you for sharing as it helped my heart to see/hear it. I've had 3 schnauzers, Gretchen was 13, Bunny was 15, and Pearl is 4. Gretchen and Bunny are in Heaven, Pearl is with me. When I was watching this, Pearl came over to me and barked, like she knew what I was feeling as I too know this pain. Ever hear that 'Dog' is 'God' spelled backwards as they are the reflection of God's love for us? God bless & comfort you.

We just lost our Schnauzer, Jack - he was only 91/2 years - He got diabetis at age 7 and then went blind at 8 with cataracts - we did the operation he then had sight and lived well until he died of complications Feb. 10, 09. God we miss him. I am afraid to get another Schnauzer for their health and that he won't live up to our beloved Jack. That was a lovely tribute to your wonderful Schnauzer.

Oh, wow. I had to put my mini schnauzer down 3 months ago and this just brought so many good memories back. He was only 10 and it was so sad but at least I was with him at the end. This video made me cry all over again! Thx so much for posting it.
