  • "The U.S. Marine Corps' investigation of the February death of a Westville Marine in Afghanistan concludes that he was fatally shot by an Afghan security contractor hired by an Afghan company" Yeah, pulling out the professionals and letting in those who hire TAXI Drivers hooked on Opium was a great idea. These "new" companys have killed more civilians in one month then all the rest combined....great move.

  • Jeremy Scahill Wins Izzy Award for Special Achievement in Independent Media

The Izzy Award is named after legendary maverick journalist I.F. Stone, who launched I.F. Stone Weekly in 1953 and exposed government deception, McCarthyism and racial bigotry. In announcing the award, the Park Center for Independent Media (PCIM) at Ithaca College cited Jeremy for persistence, independence and journalistic courage in exposing military contractor abuses and human rights abuses in Iraq and Afghanistan.

  • Blackwater is, and has been from the onset, a private army or extension of the CIA. An army that has been implicated in killing civilians, bombing mosques, torture, smuggling weapons, dressing up as aid workers, CIA Raids, and even running child prostitution rings only to be unsuccessful at paying off Iraqi officials in an attempt to cover up their crimes.

Republicans left office armed and dangerous.

  • Allowing the CIA, the masters of overthrowing Governments and staging coups to have it's own private army, stationed in training facilities on American soil has got to be the greatest threat to liberty America has seen in recent years.

What we really see here is a covert, military backed force, circumventing the oversight and constitutional authority of our elected officials in congress, and is shaping up to be one of the biggest scandals of the decade.

  • Why is Obama using Blackwater? Because they both hold the constitution in contempt and seek to "Control" those they cannot coerce. They have both proven they're willingness if not eagerness to ignor the constitution(Katrina and Stimulus/Bailout/Healthcare/Cap&Tax). Seems like what's bad for America is good business for Blackwater and Obama.

  • As barbarically unnecessary and costly as Blackwater is, the media has tried to dismiss a lot of these reports as just another one of Dick Cheney's Frankenstein monster hold overs from the Bush administration that is slowly being dismantled. Unfortunately, Obama has also been utilizing the ever-eager Blackwater special operatives for the Pakistani drone program that has been an absolute PR disaster due to the civilian casualties that stain headlines on a weekly basis.

  • Blackwater Said to Pursue Bribes to Iraq After 17 Died

NY TIMES / WASHINGTON — Top executives at Blackwater Worldwide authorized secret payments of about $1 million to Iraqi officials that were intended to silence their criticism and buy their support after a September 2007 episode in which Blackwater security guards fatally shot 17 Iraqi civilians in Baghdad, according to former company officials.

  • Why Is Obama Still Using Blackwater?

On the second anniversary of the single worst massacre of Iraqi civilians committed by a private force since the US invasion, President Obama should be forced to explain to the American people and the people of Iraq and Afghanistan why he continues to pay hundreds of millions of dollars to this company and why he permits them to remain on the ground, representing the United States in these countries.

  • Federal Prosecutors Say Blackwater 'Specifically Intended to Kill' Civilians

The US governments allegations back-up the explosive testimony of two former Blackwater employees. Govt says Blackwater shot Iraqis as payback for 9/11

It is also significant that federal prosecutors reject any suggestion by Blackwater or the defendants in this case that the men at Nisour Square acted in self-defense in response to an attack by insurgent, as Blackwater alleged from day one.

  • Blackwater held a $1.2 billion contract for Iraq, where it employed 845 men.

Private security guards working for firms like Blackwater and Dyncorp were earning up to $1,222 a day or $445,000 a year. By contrast, an Army sergeant earned $140 to $190 a day in pay and benefits, a total of $51,100 to $69,350 a year.

Since U.S. taxpayers are underwriting private soldiers' paychecks, where's the savings? It is money from taxpayer's pockets that has made these shadow armies great.

  • The Rise of Mercenary Armies: A Threat to Global Security

Help White House Thwart Peace Movement

    By Sherwood Ross

    Global Research, August 31, 2009

The growing use of private armies not only subjects target populations to savage warfare but makes it easier for the White House to subvert domestic public opinion and wage wars.

Americans are less inclined to oppose a war that is being fought by hired foreign mercenaries, even when their own tax dollars are being squandered to fund it.

  • Blackwater: CIA Assassins?

In April 2002, the CIA paid Blackwater more than $5 million to deploy a small team of men inside Afghanistan during the early stages of US operations in the country

Now the New York Times is reporting that in 2004 the CIA hired Blackwater "as part of a secret program to locate and assassinate top operatives of Al Qaeda."

  • CIA Assassination Program Went Beyond the Simple Planning Stage

Senate Intelligence Committee Chairwoman Dianne Feinstein said Thursday the CIA broke the law by failing to notify Congress about a secret assassination program.

Feinstein is the first lawmaker to state unequivocally that the CIA broke the law by failing to inform Congress about the covert program, which was concealed from Congress for nearly eight years.

  • CIA Death Squad Hired Blackwater

As if the CIA's secret assassination program couldn't get creepier: The New York Times reports that the intelligence agency's program to seek and kill jihadists employed none other than infamous military contractor Blackwater.

The CIA did not have a formal contract with Blackwater but used "individual agreements" with company heavyweights, including Blackwater founder Erik Prince.

  • It is unclear whether the agency intended to pay Blackwater for assassinations and captures, or for help with training and surveillance.

Senior CIA officials, apparently realizing that "assassin for hire" has a certain unsavory ring to it, ended Blackwater's partnership in the assassination program years before Leon Panetta took over the agency. However, the Times reports that Blackwater's involvement may have played a role in Panetta's decision to come clean on the death squad.

  • Blackwater Founder Implicated in Murder

    by JEREMY SCAHILL

A former Blackwater employee and an ex-US Marine who has worked as a security operative for the company have made a series of explosive allegations in sworn statements filed on August 3 in federal court in Virginia.

  • The former employee also alleges that Prince "views himself as a Christian crusader tasked with eliminating Muslims and the Islamic faith from the globe," and that Prince's companies "encouraged and rewarded the destruction of Iraqi life."

  • Briefed on the substance of these allegations by The Nation, Congressman Dennis Kucinich replied, "If these allegations are true, Blackwater has been a criminal enterprise defrauding taxpayers and murdering innocent civilians." Kucinich is on the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform and has been investigating Prince and Blackwater since 2004.

  • NEW BOOK

    Master of War

Blackwater USA's Erik Prince and the Business of War

    By Suzanne Simons

As Suzanne Simons reveals in this first-ever inside look, based on extraordinary access to Blackwater founder Erik Prince, and dozens of his key employees, Blackwater is just the tip of Erik Prince's empire.

  • He publicly reassures everyone that Blackwater only works for the U.S., and would never become a mercenary organization for other governments, yet he has another entire company dedicated to doing just that, hiring foreign nationals, working for well over a dozen different governments, and overlapping in crucial ways with Blackwater.

  • In addition, he has a private spying company, run by former top CIA men, employing extraordinarily sensitive methods and technical sophistication, for rent by any interested party, from companies to governments. Finally, he is amassing an air fleet that is large enough to serve as a miniature air force, not just by purchasing planes and helicopters, but also by building his own unmanned drones.

  • Bill Moyers: The Rise of Private Armies -- Mercenaries, Murder and Corruption in Iraq and Afghanistan

By Bill Moyers, Bill Moyers Journal. Posted June 9, 2009.

Journalist Jeremy Scahill warns against the growing power of corporate private armies and the "disintegration of the nation state apparatus."

  • What I find most interesting about this video is that you must superimpose threatening images such as the statue of liberty wanting to commit suicide over Jeremy Scahill narration. If what he said was relivant, true, or in itself anything other than propoganda those images would not be needed, to prove a point. However the weekminded and easily swayed liberals are diverted from their true opinions to meander infront of nothing more than a children's picture book.

  • al⋅le⋅go⋅ry

    noun, plural -ries.

1.a representation of an abstract or spiritual meaning through concrete or material forms; figurative treatment of one subject under the guise of another.

The Allegory of the Cave, is used by the Greek philosopher Plato in his work The Republic to illustrate "our nature in its education and want of education".

This one fits our Mindfuck Inc. big media as a gloveyeah, thats the ticket..Smell da Glove;)

  • The latest episode of "Total Makeover: Make Me a More Huggable Mercenary" is just too precious to pass up. As observers of the rise of private paramilitary forces, like Blackwater/Xe (Bush's thugs) and Triple Canopy (Obama's hired guns) know, the mercenary industry has its very own trade association, with the warm and fuzzy Orwellian name, the International Peace Operations Association. by Jeremy Scahill

  • Republicans leave office armed and dangerous.

Could they harm American more than they already did ?

  • Mercenaries are loyal only to the highest bidder. they have no place in a democracy.

    2. of or relating to a mercenary or mercenaries [Latin merces wages]

  • I bet you they made more then 1.3billion i bet u they made much more but back to the problem here black water has gotten too big and now no one can stop them so all we can do is just wait until they burn them selves out and even if black water is gone, they have opened a door that no one wanted opened, so even if black water is gone a new company will emerge more powerful then the last and knows how to handle the mistakes of the past so i guess all we can do is watch the earth burn

  • Blackwater is nothing without its clients...and that is the crux of the biscuit. Corporate money needs mercenaries to do their dirty jobs worldwide.

Blackwater is able & willing to pucker up , if the price is right regardless of political moral (an oxymoron indeed ;)

A private army is bad news from the get go for they will only answer to... MONEY not WE THE PEOPLE !

  • Excellent videos... How do I start working with you??

  • Great video. Truth rising! Gotta watch Black like a hawk.

  • Blackwater Changes Its Name, Shall Now Be Called the Knights Who Say 'Xe'

Perhaps Erik Prince and his men have been watching Monty Python.

In Monty Python And The Holy Grail, the Knights Who Say "Ni" are a bizarre band of forest-dwelling pirates, headed by a 12-foot-tall leader with antlers on his helmet. The Knights are charged with protecting a series of sacred words (including the word "Ni"), which, if heard by mortal ears, cause horrible pain and suffering.

  • "Those who hear them seldom live to tell the tale!" King Arthur tells his companions when he and his entourage encounter the Knights in the forest. The King and his men cower at the very mention of the word, "Ni" before the Knights demand a sacrifice in return for safe passage: a shrubbery. King Arthur bows in respect. "O Knights of Ni, you are just and fair and we will return with a shrubbery." But when they do, the Knights are intent on extorting King Arthur and his men.

  • Their leader informs the King that they are no longer the Knights Who Say "Ni." Now they are the Knights Who Say, "Ekke Ekke Ekke Ekke Ptang Zoo Boing..." Thus, the King must now pass a new test: bring them another shrubbery and, while he's at it, "cut down the mightiest tree in the forest with a herring." The King refuses this clear attempt at extortion.

    Meanwhile...

  • Now, that merry band of Knights from Blackwater Worldwide -- infamous for the killing of innocent civilians in Iraq -- having failed to have their lucrative Iraq contract renewed, have announced that they shall no longer be called "Blackwater Worldwide." They shall now be called, "The Knights Who Say 'Xe.'" Well, actually, the company will just be called "Xe," pronounced "Z." (No word yet on whether Blackwater chief Erik Prince will be donning an antler helmet.)

  • "The greatest threat to our world and its peace comes from those who want war, who prepare for it, and who, by holding out vague promises of future peace or by instilling fear of foreign aggression, try to make us accomplices to their plans." - Hermann Hesse

  • Nice to see you making videos again.

  • love the video!
