Mass destruction, death and alot of free time. Also it brought the required quest completion people need for the standing in the light after Omens death to the main city. This was also a challenge we decided to undertake because we were all 60 or under w/o TBH. At the time and Omen was tuned for 70s it was the first Elune festival of TBC. Why can't we do it just for the fun of it? Blizz has removed the ability to do this, there isn't alot to do other than raid / arena or do achives.

The Kurken wasn't in the game when it first came out. You probably tried taming it when you weren't a BM hunter with the proper skill. Instead of telling others how wrong they are and how right you are, you should learn about the game you are talking about. Beast Mastery hunters can tame Exotic pets.
