  • im trying to learn this on violin, the only problem is that i have a lefty violin and a righty violin, the righty sounds HORRIBLE! but the left is an A.Osmanek German 1910 left handed violin witch sounds amazing!!! so i decided to learn this song on lefty, and ive kind of merged, i find my playing better when i play a left handed violin in right hand position, so the strings are just backwards...

  • @tomyv1661 Thank you for listening to the video and commenting. I strongly encourage you to use your right arm as your bow arm and your left hand as the fingering hand. Regardless whether you are right handed or left handed and regardless the sound of the two violins. Although there are some exceptions, the violin was designed to be bowed with the right arm and fingered with the left hand. For the best progress on the violin it is best to move forward in this manner. Regards, Edmund

  • @edmundjacobs I would have a luthier check out the poor sounding violin and have the good sounding violin switched back to standard set up. Hope this helps, Edmund
