I was a 11 when my dad let me drive his '70 Camaro Z28. I turned it on and i couldn't help but smile and fear it. I was scared and in shock at how much raw power was under the hood of my Dad's Z28 and i was at the finger tips of it all. I still have the car and im still in shock at how much raw power is still in the little 350 LT1 Small Block

Due to a strike by the UAW, the first half of 1970, GM did not produce any Camaros. Therefore, when finally introduced, they were known as the "1970 1/2" Camaro. RS-SS were produced from 1970 until 1972. For 1973, the SS was replaced by the Type LT. RS 'split bumper' was still available in 1973 also.

Due to production delays the 1970 Camaro was introduced in February 1970, half way into the production year. Because of this, some people will call the 1970 Camaro a 1970 1/2, but officially the car is a 1970 model year Camaro.

Show me a pic of a title that states you're driving a 1970.5 Camaro.

Last year of the split bumper? You're an idiot. It's the first year of the RS option, that gave you the split bumpers. This option continued through 1973.

Sounds like my first car '88-'93. I had a blue '79 with a 350 & big fat tires - > :D My late father & I, repainted it white (black interior) ... I blacked out all of the chrome removed the side strips ... it was a very clean looking car. Lots of compliments. 74's-81's can look pretty cool if you do them right.

just bought my 2nd 71,it's coming 600 plus miles to get here,i had to have it ,my first car was a 71 camaro and a drunk hit me head on and my car was junk,the only panel on that car that didn't get hurt was the deck lid,the floor was even crushed but i walked with some cuts and hard feelings
