Ares XM110 Quick Spring Change/Upgrade

Hey. I'm getting the ARES FN SCAR-L soon. What is maximum recommended spring I can put in it? I wan to perform at its best. What I meant was I want it to shoot fast and hard as possible without damaging it.

Hey can anybody here vouch for the quality of the Ares M14 EBR-FS? I want to get that but I'm hearing my fair share of horror stories about Ares quality/price contrast.

I recently got an ARES G36 (full sized version) from ehobbyasia. It's awesome looking. However, out of the box, the hop-up knob didn't even move...it turned out that it came with an oversized o-ring. After my friends fixed that for me, the hop-up works but still sucks. I installed an SCS nub & tbb but that barely helped. It's also advertised as "380 fps out of the box" yet it chronos at ~270 with .25s (which would be ~300 w/ .2s). Rate of fire is average.

Overall, don't bother.

hi i just bought this gun and was wandering if anyone could help me i need to remove the flash hider and put in a new one and i dont know how to with this gun if any one can tel me it be great thanks!!!!!

I used a heat guns and a hacksaw. It was difficult. If I had to do it again I would saw take some masking tape an wrap it thick around the barrel, then tak a hack saw or dremel and cut the flash hider diagonally down to the threads. You will probably cut some into the threads but it will not matter. Then take a screwdriver and place in the diagonal cut and twist. This should break the plastic on the flash hider and you should be able to get it off. Good luck.

Dear georgeandolina,

you could choose to buy it from them but then you run the risk of the gun not getting past customs and then you are out of your money and no gun. A modify 130 should give you the fps you are looking for.

hey man what kind of spring do u recommend, I am thinking a M130 but i want my DMR to reach out and touch someone an i was lookin at the M150 spring and i am nvr gonna us it on full auto but i heard high springs can break gears

get helical gears, they can pull high FPS springs and still have a good ROF
