CV joints dont go in place of any gears you fuck nut....anywhere theres a pivoting point, in the diff. to wheel driveline, you have a CV joint.......in the steering knuckle of a solid axle machine, you would have a universal joint.....u better stay in school....and dont try to become a mechanic anytime soon
@codypolo Agreed, and it can perfectly replace the good ol' drive shaft couplings, i can see this example bearing heavier loads...

Torvecs cv joint is based on spearical gearing. take another look, it might look like gear teeth.
