  • This information was very informative for me, but more importantly, THAT RABBIT IS SOOOOOOOO CUTE.

  • can i use scissorss?

  • @Ninjaflyed Rabbit owners are advised to not use scissors to cut their rabbit’s nails. Scissors put too much pressure on the blood vessel (also referred to as the quick) running through the nail and they also inhibit accurate trimming position.

  • @4HLancasterNE Well to dang bad, i have using this scissor method for years the rabbit only bleeds for few hours but after that good as new.

    :D

  • i have a rabbit but he has tons of energy and i dont think he will sit still and he will only let me hold him so i am probly gonna just hold him and let my mom clip his nails

  • im geeting one soon but i dont trust my self trimming its nail i might messs up

  • If you can get a friend to help you hold your rabbit while you trim it's toenails, it's not too hard. Just be careful to watch for the quick (the blood vessel) and don't cut the nails too short. If your rabbit is nervous about getting held to have it's nails trimmed, try gently covering it's eyes to make it calm down while trimming its nails.

  • im planning on getting a bunny soon and these are great tips! thnx!
