Vemola can't even make a main card on a free event. He ain't someone who people pay to see and NOT an outstanding wrestler. If it was that good, he'd use it more often. If he's the best that the Czechs have to offer in terms of wrestlers, then that program lost worldwide cred or acclaim if they had any. As for Barry, he's 4-4 and lost to two guys who aren't UFC calibre in Cro Cop and Hague, and his best wins are against Morecraft and Beltran who are regional talents if you ask me.

ALex Bruceleeroy Caceres has been working very hard to improve his game after two losses in the UFC. He won against Cole Escovedo in the UFC on FOX event. Look it up! As far as his flashy style, Its entertaining!!! thats what sell tickets and ppv buys!! The reason why people like Jon Bones Jones is because he is a great fighter and does flashy elbows and spinning back kicks. And dominates his opponents. But most fighters who train becomes much better and more fluid with their technique.

I disagree with you about Alex Caceres... you havent done your research on him enough. If you just judge what you see on TUF or UFC fight, its not an accurate picture. Alex caceres is more well rounded then most of those fighters on that Tuf season. Yes, I have seen his fights. Alot of fighters discounted his ability to be an outside striker. Alex Caceres'defensive anything wasn't very good until I saw his fight with Cole Escovedo. Grapplers could close the distance on him real easy and control him. For example, Michael Johnson's defensive grappling is horrible, and that guy controlled him, and Alex could not sub him. The Mackens Semerzier wasn't good either. The guy kinda closed the distance on him and he succumbed to an RNC without good struggle. I really haven't seen him look good until the Escovedo fight.

Kelly, Winner and Osiczak were all cut unfairly. 2 of Ozipkzaks losses were close split decisions, one of Winner's was a bullshit decision and Kelly only lost one to one of the best lightweights. Joe Stevenson was a popular American UFC lightweight, who was arguably more exciting of a fighter than Hardy who had skills everywhere unlike him, was also former contender, and dropped 4 straight. For that he got cut. I will say this though. If Hardy was even a popular American fighter, he'd be cut. Look at Kimbo Slice, arguably a similar skill set and a bigger draw. He got cut. Hardy is just one of the faces for UFC UK and that is why he is around.

Johnson previously didn't have any wins over still employed UFC talent and was also out over a year. Because of so, he was an underdog and Hardy lost to him almost as bad as he lost to GSP. So IMO that's worse than Mitrione/Slice because most people were going Mitrione anyway. So it isn't like the fight disappointed anyone, most people called him to outclass Slice and he did.

Condit was highly ranked, Johnson was coming off an injury which lasted over a year and before that did not beat anyone currently employed by Zuffa, and Lytle just lost to a newcomer and hasn't been a top ten in years. Plus it was the fight Hardy wanted, and he lost. Also, he makes too much money to be placed on the preliminaries. It's best they part ways, plus Hardy's iffy about his MMA career right now so I'm not sure how much heart he has left in the sport.

I had Lytle winning the whole fight, which is why Hardy went for that takedown round 3 to sway the judges into turning it into a closer decision. Hardy could have engaged in a kickboxing match, but decided to just punch and brawl with Lytle, trying to counterpunch, not being very successful at it. He can't even win in the stand-up, his strength, in a match he wanted. He's gotta go.

Johnson got into Hardy's head and the fans' as well, saying he'd strike with Hardy, but he did the more obvious thing, and I can't fault him for that. Johnson's wins up until Hardy were against people no longer employed by the UFC, plus he was out for so long. Lytle just lost to a UFC newcomer although a good one, before the Hardy fight. Those guys are maybe 11-15 somewhere there. GSP/Condit is understandable, but he is losing EVERYWHERE the fight goes, even his strength. What more can he do? Put him up against cans on a UK card? The stereotype with UK fighters is that they're one-dimensional, and that base is striking. The ones who are successful in the UFC are the well-rounded ones, like Pearson [one of my favorites], Hathaway, and Bisping, who can each grapple. Hardy had a cakewalk to the title shot because he fought strikers, so he had a puncher's chance and won four straight, beating Mike Swick at the end, who has never been anything special.
