@ShaggyTheClown17 I think this might be what's called a Carpenter bee (the irridescent colourful wings tell me it's not a fly) I saw one once abroad in Italy and yeah  I think all bees are fatter than wasps, hornets aren't fat they're just mahoosive :)

I know that mantises will attack anything when they're hungry --- but a CARPENTER BEE --- they're pretty big. That's something I've never seen before.
