This short movie was in the German TV on New Year's Eve about 30 years ago. It was not commented and I always asked myself who made it. I could never forget this film, it's brilliant.
I never noticed before, but there's a resemblence in the pattens in the bottle to prehistoric statues of fertility goddess', and that would be very fitting considering that life comes from within the bottle. I wonder if that was intentional.
....WOW I have been remembering this cartoon for the last 30 years, and I never thought I'd see it again--- I remembered it every time I heard this piece!! simply magnificent. thank you for uploading this!!!
It's interesting how around (:00 the dinosaurs are destroyed by an ice age which reflects the scientific consensus when this film was made in the 70s. Now, we know almost certainly that an asteroid caused them to become extinct.
Cool, I've been looking for this for ages, my dad recorded it on VHS when I was a kid and I could never remember the name of the film. Such an imaginative adaption of a classic music piece.
This cartoon was a big part of turning me on to classical music 25 years ago. I will be introducing a bunch of little ones to it in the following days. Thanks much.
I saw this on TV when I was a young boy, some 25 years ago, and I've been searching for this for a few years now... THANK YOU!!!! for posting; e muito obrigado ao GRANDE VASCO GRANJA por nos ter mostrado isto na televisão!!!
When I was going to college at the U. of Hawaii, we used to get loaded and go watch Midnight Madness movies. This brings back some really good times, those that I remember ;)

One of my favorite moments in the movie, if not my favorite. Hard to pick favorites when the comedy's involved, though.

Haven't seen this since the late 70's when HBO used it to fill the gaps between their movies. Survive and march on.

Me encanta la película de CHIN-CHIN BOOM-BOOM !!!! Me gusta mucho más que Fantasía (de Disney)
Los dibujos son mucho más originales y menos infantiles ^^. Y me encanta el Bolero de Ravel!!!
