  • Hemp isnt marijuana.. -google before u say otherwise.

  • May 2nd there is a

    National Marijuana Liberation March

held around the world,in over 200 cities...

I am fortunate enough to be able to speak this year,

in Seattle on the legalization for cultivation,

not only for medicinal or spiritual use but for industrial use as well. This would promote jobs galore. This plant could save our planet...

at least give us a little more time on it...

    peace to all...

  • Great message. + the music fits ^^

  • More doper rationalizations. Fail

  • I LUV DISE BOOBS :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:DD <3

  • i will suck your scrotum

  • If anything weed should be completely legal in the U.S but drugs like crack, Speed and methamphetamine should remain illegal.

Weed has little to no side effects compared to that shit.

Other than making someone a little bit more slow and more social, thats about it.

  • hemp isnt illegal in the us, just the bud

  • I agree. In my country is legal to have, use, smoke, eat weat and hemp. Its not really a big deal. Almost everyone I know, from friends to work relations use / smoke dope. Nothing strage hapening here. Btw we have the lowest levels on problemes vs drug users in the world. (fackt!)

  • English illustrates solves the invention which the Earth warms, does not use the innovation which all energies possibly generate electricity your government, must be the national person makes this innovation if you did not understand that I said anything I ask you to tell you the National intelligence Organization completes this innovation I do not spend money to give your country In you In you tude character a661333

  • I like how you call it hemp...its better for you then beer and ciggarretts you know! : ).......(well ok not better,,,but definately not as bad)

  • If Hemp ran for president I would vote for it!

  • Boobs wont work.. they only care about money, not money in general - but profit.

  • go anti government propaganda!

  • If you delve into MK ULTRA research, you'll also learn that the only drug that prevents you from being mind controlled is MJ! Hence, the elite hate the proliferation of pot use.

  • So, let me ask you this than investur.

Where's your proof to back your statement up.

If you do have proof, then I wonder if there are other ways to defend against it.

    A.K.A mental defenses.

  • Marijuana has helped me after a brain injury. Marijuana has helped me with chronic pain. Marujuana has helped relieve my irritability and depression. I would not have survived without marijuana use. All the man made drugs come last in the race considering their toxicity, known side effects, even death in some cases. Short term memory loss is not permanent. I have an IQ over 130. Must be the new neurons growing in my head because of weed? Lowering sperm count is not a serious medical condition.

  • yeah i hear ya. I couldn't go on anti-depressants because I have a blood condition. Weed def helps me control my dpression and suicidal thoughts. Life saver.

  • If the goverment made it legal it would be no different there would still be dealers. Hemp could make this world a better place not only to the enviroment but could stop wars over oil. Big buisnesses pay £1000000 a day to anti drug corperations so they wont lose business, its people with the money that run the world, they have the power to do so. So WE need to do something, I say fuck the goverment and we need to make the world a better place.

  • hell yeah!

  • Yeah yeah, you keep talking and by the time you get around to it princessraver1989 the worlds not going to change.

Only people with money have the power to change things; that or anyone willing to throw away and sacrifice their life and everything for the greater good.

Sad thing is the human race should truthfully die out due to the human nature of greed, Power and war.

Heroic actions like that go forgotten in time and masked over by corruption and lies.

It's always gonna be the same path.

  • Decriminalize would be better. If they legalize it, then'll we have to pay taxes on it

  • Huh. I always thought the government wouldn't legalize it because the drug companies (who contribute plenty of money to polticians) would go broke.

  • This video kicks ass

  • It also lowers sperm count, diminishes memory, slows the process of learning, and increases estrogen hormones. This is a great tool for population control. The Elitists should be doping the public down with this to make it's sheeple docile. It could even be applied to mass mind control.

  • yeah that's total bullshit if a person regulates their marijauna use.

    you lose!

  • I named facts and I lose? No no my dim witted perp. Sober up than try to "win." We've got a pot smoking debater here, DON'T READ unless you want to die from laughter.

  • it doesnt diminish memory, it clouds short term memory. alcohol on the other hand does kill brain cells

  • You can take highly expensive quack pills for imaginary mental conditions, only to make share holders richer. You can buy cases of liquor while you pump overpriced fuel at any gas station. But you can't friggin grow yourself a ganja PLANT that needs no processing to be useful to you and calm your nerves. So now you're in jail with the murderers and rapists cuz you wanted to be a horticulturist and save yourself some o' that damn pill money. USA!! Best not disobey!! That's freedom 4 ya!

  • party hardy, but please no pregnos and dont harm any animals please!

  • they demonize herb to keep the people divided.

they know we can unite with herb because it is a thinking herb. it allows people to think and find the truth behind the curtain.

  • Haaaaaaaaa i hear that. And what the curtain is nobody knows

  • excellent video desheik. herb is the way forward.

  • This plant is a threat to the oil, pharma government that owns us.

Hemp could be a vehicle for growth if we could get separation of Corp and State.

  • +1 for use of bonanza

  • Fucking excelent. great music

  • I find that there is no reason at all for all of deep analysis and hateful statements made as comments on this video, I'm not quite as well versed as some of these commenter's, but I find that what one does with one's body should be one's own choice, not that of a greedy government who wants to control us all regardless of what that takes. It's all a power trip people. Believe what you want to believe.

  • i support ron paul. he would legalize hemp and end the drug war.

we have to end the federal reserve as well

  • Hmmm, I love this video.

    ;-)

  • excellent!

  • I used to read and research hemp production regularly back in the day (about 10-15 years ago). I used to address, legalization and decriminalization with everyone and anyone. Of course there are so many things wrong in this country that it is hard to stay on top of everything all the time and life continues to steamroll over us. Good video. You, along with some other YTers, have recharged my interest in becoming vocal about it again.

  • Is it OK to be anti-drug, pro-environment AND anti-war? Please say it is!

  • it's ok to be whatever you want to be. but even though you are anti-drug i hope you realize that being a drug user does not make somebody a bad person

  • I don't even take drugs and I agree to that.

Unless you consider meditation a drug... then I would be guilty of a drug user ^_^

    Peace

  • bad

  • it most definitely is OK.

  • if drugs were made legal our prison population would be reduced more than 70%. less prisoners = less need for prisons, prison gaurds, police. it would take a huge chunk of business away from not only the prison-industrial complex(modern day slavery/human commodities),but also the judicial system, law enforcement, and would even take some legislative power away from our politicians. above of all it would give them less reason to tax us. our authoritarian state would lose legitamacy and power

  • plus the CIA could no longer make money off of drug smuggling

  • worst of all (for them) they could no longer keep the people down with their phoney laws, we might rise up

  • Rise Up!

  • wait...we should be able to grow hemp in order to combat climate change? what? i mean i think hemp should be legal too, but what a wacky argument to make. so should pot continued to be outlawed because it contributes infinitesimally to global warming? you can see where this is going.

and what's with the breast shots? trying to do a little sex-sells yourself, eh?

  • Hemp can replace petroleum in many ways. Read the comments if you are interested.

  • actually this is really the only logical response... from The Pointless, Yet Poignant, Crisis Of A Co-ed, Dar Williams

Many years ago in college, don't laugh but I thought I was a radical, I ran the Hemp Liberation League with my boyfriend ... and we would bond in the face of oppression from big business and the deans but I knew there was a problem, every time the group would meet everyone would light up, that made it difficult to discuss glaucoma and human rights, not to mention chemotherapy

  • Yeah, in the vid I was referencing the millions of acres of trees knocked down by hurricane Katrina which as they decompose release copious amounts of co2. Instead of replanting tree farms we could be planting faster growing and more environmentally friendly hemp if it weren't for the ridiculous prohibition.

Getting high should no more be a political issue than having a drink. Drug laws are a tool of oppression.

  • so what's the porn intercut for?

  • They are implants made from a hemp seed oil gel . . .

Seriously I know that some might think I should not exploit the fact that this is an adolescent mileau where an attractive bosom is worth fifty to a hundred thousand views but I find it quite amusing and in the immortal words of Larry Flint "I will always love women."

    Peace.

  • aWESOME VID, and soo true

    Thanks for making this

  • Yeah well I heard that Washington rode on the backs of dolphins while he smoked his home grown. I also heard they've been doing that since Aztec times. I'm just sayin

  • George Washington grew hemp for rope and for the slaves to smoke. That has been done since Roman times. It helps pacify the slaves. The masters and their families never touch the stuff.

  • Hemp is the alternative fuel source henry ford made a cars interior and exterior out of hemp cellulose plastic and fueled the car with hemp seed oil

  • i fuckin love the weed. there is a time and a place like everything else of course but i feckin luv it

  • its only illegal because its a bunch of old farts sitting on capitol hill. if they made it legal and taxed that shiz, they could prob fund research on new fuel sources just from all the stoners in this country

  • awesome video!

    PEACE AND LOVE

  • desheik, bluebear, bagellar how old are you guys? i'm 17 and i wan't to know how long it will it be until i can speak/write as articulately as you guys.

  • I feel like I'm a hundred.

  • i heard eve swung in the trees on a hemp rope, it wasn't an apple at all.

  • pot is less dangerous than alcohol and tobacco... can anyone explain, why its illegal?

  • it's funny how the hemp people are always showing how useful hemp is (which is true) but in reality just want to smoke it and couldn't give a fuck what else it could be used for.

  • actually i don't smoke pot... but was just wondering why it is so... and the way i see it, we are spending way more money trying to keep it out, when we could spend so much less just regulating the use of it...

  • It's illegal because retardeds like you go to the internet asking about it.

  • its actually like 7 times worse than tobacco or something like that

  • actually its not. and tobacco itself isn't bad its the chemicals put into it that are.

  • True dat.

  • WHERE IS CANNABIS IMAGES ? only shit on this clip

  • Anyone who does drugs is a dumbass. Plain and simple.

  • Well who does that leave out? No one if you actually understand the meaning of a word. Sugar, tobacco, high fructose corn syrup, ambien, prozac, viagra, viox are _ _ _ _ _? Can you fill in the blank moron?

  • A crime without victim

  • What a weird blend of conspiracy theory and socialism. You can just say you want marijuana legalised (which I do as well). But by going so far from the mainstream, you alienate guys like me who also want pot legalised.

  • The "mainstream" is a fantasy illusion. The truth is the truth however alienating to the culturally indoctrinated that may be. Get off that ship. It's sinking.

  • Aside from the rhetoric, can you provide more clarity around your irritating metaphors? What is sinking? Why is it sinking? What subtext are you trying to push?

  • The cult of capitalist materialism is sinking because it is corrupt to the core. Your initial comment is equally vague. Nothing in the vid is conspiracy theory, public facts.

  • When I look at US politics, I agree that there are some practices I'd characterise as shady. But I disagree that this applies in other countries. Specifically, I live in Australia, and we don't have this "in bed with politicians" thing that Americans seem to have going. It's for this reason I'm skeptical of the claim that it's the fault of capitalism (or, Keynesianism, or Neo-Classicalism), as opposed to your specific political system.

  • Well I do direct my ire at the US but over consumption, materialism, pollution and militant ism seems to be going global. Didn't Australia send troops to Iraq?

  • Sure did :) And unlike the US, it didn't blow the budget! We didn't do it for oil; we did it for trade and migration concessions :)

I stand by my comments above. Given that capitalism separates politics from commerce, I see political tinkering in commerce as being the fault of the political system, not the economic system.

So, if political parties were supported by the fiscal budget and politicians not allowed to sit on boards or own shares, that would be more helpful in stopping these abuses.

  • I just saw a news production from ABC there in Australia that high ranking gov't officials in Australia have admitted that OIL is their biggest reason for your troops being in Iraq... I am not criticizing this so much, at least your gov't is telling you the truth behind it all.

  • By "high ranking government officials", you mean the ministers that just lost government and are now in opposition, right? And don't get me wrong, I don't believe in the war in Iraq, but I don't think it's about oil. It's about God. It's a crusade. I mean, oops, not crusade! Not crusade! Hahahaha

  • You mean greedy guys like you who just want pot legalized for your own personal use rather then for all of the good it would do for the environment, economy and general well being of the citizens of Earth?

You are misled greatly if you believe any of the statements made above are conspiracy theories... It's sheeple like you who destroy our world.

  • Yes, I do want pot legalised "just for my own personal use". I sincerely do not believe in this "citizens of the Earth" thing. I believe that you don't have the right to tell me how to live my life. A concept of a 'global citizenry' is to say a global body politic.

  • ...or to say that all people of earth deserve to live well... politics have nothing to do with the fact that we all live here. If the world were nothing but scattered tribes led by witch-doctors, we would all still live here, and we would all still deserve to live well. And legalization of marijuana/hemp would bring us one step closer to that, and one step away from dependence on petroleum

  • I would be reeeeeeeeeally interested if you would provide more on this 'pot driving away petroleum dependence' thing. This is quite amusing.

What about housing crumble? Sub-prime mortgages? I think you consider these problems to be solved by legalizing too?

I smoked weed. I enjoyed it. I just don't wanna waste my time and money anymore. You're growing up - you just realizing this.

  • Industrial hemp is an ecologically sound alternative to petro chemicals. The seeds can produce oil the stalks fiber for textiles and building materials. It is not the entire solution but it could be a huge part of one if the ridiculous police state racist prohibition was lifted. I am all growed up.

  • haha, wow, that is one if the most ignorant/nonsensical statement I have heard in awhile. It indicates that you yourself are very likely not a very acomplished person. I know many people and several multi millionaire's that smoke more than their fare share of product...

  • Weed has also been proven to cause homosexualality as well.

  • Are you a malt liquor?

  • Why do you blame the governments interest in oil and war for making weed illegal? wouldnt they want weed to be legal for the taxes it could generate like cigarette taxes?

  • Let's assume the pharmaceutical, petrochemical, cotton, paper and textile industries have lobbyists with some power in Washington and that industrial hemp could severely cut into their profits, which way do you think they are pushing? Marijuana (the drug) is basically free, you can grow it in your backyard, hence untaxable.

  • Marijuana is difficult and time consuming to grow yourself and it would not be worth it, if you could simply buy some at the gas station down the street. At least 95% of it would be sold in stores, hence taxable. Also, marijuana wouldnt cut into the profits of the other companies, so it makes your conspiracy a little unfounded.

  • You have completely missed the point. First, hemp and marijuana are the same plant. The purpose of the ban was to stop industrial hemp from competing with the above named industries. They were instrumental in passing the legislation and in instituting a fantasy propaganda campaign about reefer madness. Read the comments if you would like more details or Google it yourself. The facts are quite public. In other words pot is illegal in order to ban hemp.

  • Or is hemp illegal in order to ban pot? Ahhhh, it just blows your mind doesnt it?

  • No it really doesn't.

  • Or does it? hmmm...

  • Pretty sure it doesn't Stewie.

  • Henry Aslinger had more to do with illegalizing weed than corporations. The problem now is, no public official wants to be the pro-drug representative, regardless of how they feel about this.

  • And Aslinger was married to the daughter of the president of the Mellon bank, sole financier of DuPont which had just invented nylon as in rope as in hemp. And the total insane propaganda was put out by the largest pulpwood holder in the country, Hearst. You really think it's all just coincidence? A machine which could process hemp industrially invented the same year the prohibition is passed?

  • How does oil and war have anything to do with weed? The smart thing to do, for the government, is make weed legal and tax the shit out of it like cigarettes. Then they could make more money (off of you) for their war and oil mongering.

  • Simple, pulpwood can only be turned into paper using petrochemicals. This was invented by Texaco and Dupont which is why they succesfully got weed outlawed. All paper was made from hemp back in the day. Our recent warring has been to procure oil. Relegalize hemp and we won't need oil.

  • I clicked on the boobage and stayed for the music. I don't smoke weed because it turns me into a chainsaw wielding maniac!! and I don't have a chainsaw so I tend to just sit around space out and get paranoid..did I say that? is there someone at the door? do I have penis cancer? ...ect ect.

  • Yeah it's better if you do something constructive.

  • Very deep green leaves. Nature designs so much beauty for us to appreciate.

  • Pot heads are complete losers! They love to defend their drug, but in the end they are just burnouts!

  • You really are a stupid asshole.

  • Hello losers!

  • Your mama was a loser.

  • No, your mom should of swallowed you!

  • LOSERS!!!!!!!!

  • i had often wondered why hemp/marijuana is illegal and after very lil research i discovered it started off (and is continuing to be) a political agenda...the forefathers didn't want hemp production b/c it would have interfered with their finances...since they were the ones who owned the land on which the trees grew, that they would cut down and use for manufacturing paper and other products

  • If by founding fathers you mean Mr. Du Pont and Mr. Hearst and Mr. Texaco then yes. Washington and Jefferson both grew hemp.

  • wow even more reason to vote for ron paul

  • Is he for ending Prohibition?

  • yea and abolishing the dea

  • retarded. quite.

  • pass me a bowl, satisfy my soul.

  • All we need is for the people of the world to take the reigns back from corporate pirates drunk on wealth and profit.

  • A true green movement would involve a radical reversal, a commitment to not poisoning, a rediscovery of the fact that nature god whatever the hell you want to call it knows much better than we how to manage life systems.

  • I knew about hemp.. unfortunately it is not just hemp that is problem. I hope that we will fix this shit in witch we live.

  • Hemp is the solution.

  • Yes, for many things... I know that many products can be made from it. But, we need whole design.....

I have raised hemp. :) I should't talk about it... but... who can touch me here?

  • It's simple, stop using oil and everything else that is toxic. Base our economies on green technologies. A five year old can look at the picture of a bird covered in black oily death and tell you it is wrong.

  • Correct. I just need to wait maybe a year... and then I can start doing almost everything without oil....

I must do it myself... because nobody else will do it for me. We do not have so organized authority who could push such a measures... I simply do not want to be dependant on oil and plastic and all of the shit that destroys country that I love so much.

  • RON PAUL 2008!!!

  • Rock Lobster!

  • I hear Rosie O'donnel got stopped at the border yesterday. Yup....400 pounds of crack!

  • Well, alcohol might have been banned but since it occurs naturally when ever you sugar, or starch ... well its not possible to ban it.

    Cannibis does kill.

Smoking causes cancer, and smoking cannibis is worse than tobacco for cancer. SO the 'No deaths" is a total and utter fabrication from these *drug addicts*

  • Pot grows naturally and no it doesn't, tobacco kills 400,000 per year Alcohol 150,000 per year pot zero.Don't just regurgitate DARE commercials look at the statistics. Stupid.

  • It does not cause lung cancer. All studies say that.

  • You can drown in water, should it be illegal? Point is it is a plant. It can be eaten or made into a very soothing tea. It is medecine. The reasons for it's prohibition have nothing to do with health. See past that to the truth. Santacop is a lying corporate scam. Or scum even.

  • i hope that was supposed to be satire

  • I always find it amazing that people need to do drugs to "feel" good.

  • hemp is not srug though, it bares no psychotropics

  • I guess you do no sugar, no caffeine, no alcohol, no tobacco, no prescriptions? I didn't think they let Mormons on the internet.

  • I wouldn't compare sugar or caffeine to marijuana. They don't cause burn out like pot does.

Anyway, I'm not a Mormon but at least they're not so insecure about what life has to offer to have to use drugs.

  • insecure about what life has to offer? you know one thing life has to offer? drugs. lol the mormons look like the insecure ones to me, well not just them in particular yadidaimean?

  • Sugar and caffeine don't cause burn out? Interesting.

Why, then, do people CRASH after a sugar high? Why is the phrase "caffeine crash" in existence if it doesn't happen?

I'm not saying that they're "comparable" to marijuana. However, they DO cause burnout.

RE: Mormonism and insecurity.... if they were so secure, they wouldn't be going door to door trying to convert people. I know how to find a LDS church without the help of missionaries.

  • Smoking marijuana is much less harmful to the body than alcohol. In a typical year, over 150,000 people die because of alcohol (Family Council on Drug Awareness). There has never been a death caused by marijuana, not even one. In fact, more people die from using aspirin than from using marijuana.

  • "At one point consciousness-altering devices like the microscope and telescope were criminalized for exactly the same reasons that psychedelic plants were banned in later years. They allow us to peer into bits and zones of Chaos." Timothy Leary

  • "Eventually the right to determine our own food and drug preferences will be seen as a natural consequence of human dignity, as long as it is done in a way that does not limit the rights of others." Terence McKenna

  • People have a right to get stoned. They have a right to think and explore their own minds. This is as intimate a part of their being as their sexuality. Any culture which mitigates that is clearly afraid of a full and fair and open dialog about what reality is and what real human values ought to be.

    Terence McKenna

  • The government always promotes government growth. There are vast programs springing up for mandatory treatment; there's the drug-testing industry as well as the DEA and other enforcement agencies. The military is involved as well. Then you have the prison industry, which is the fastest growing government sector.

  • Partnership for a Drug Free America's main funding sources are, in order of importance, pharmaceutical companies, the tobacco industry and the alcohol industry - their inference being that legal drug industries, by denouncing illegal drugs, might increase their market share.

  • sorry bout that!

The British Hempire was made possible by the Royal Navy which was made possible by the hemp industry, the original navy used canvas sails and rope made from hemp!

  • It used to be illegal to not grow hemp in the UK!

It is one of the Brit

  • The simple fact is that the US government by prohibiting hemp and pushing petro-chemicals and lumber has created the environmental predicament we face today. It is that simple and that easy to remedy.

  • Hempseed oil lit the lamps of legendary Aladdin, Abraham the prohet, and in real life, Abraham Lincoln. It was the brightest lamp oil.

  • If all fossil fuels and their derivatives, as well as trees for paper and construction were banned in order to save the planet, reverse the Greenhouse Effect and stop deforestation;

there is only one known renewable natural resource capable of providing the majority of the world's paper and textiles; meeting all of the world's transportation, industrial and home energy needs; simultaneously reducing pollution, rebuilding the soil, and cleaning the atmosphere all at the same time, Hemp.

  • Botanically, hemp is a member of the most advanced plant family on Earth. It is a dioecious (having male, female and sometimes hermaphroditic - male and female on the same plant), woody, herbaceous annual that uses the sun more efficiently than virtually any other plant on our planet, reaching a robust 12 to 20 feet or more in one short growing season. It can be grown in virtually any climate or soil condition on Earth, even marginal ones.

  • I do smoke, but I don't go through all this trouble just because I want to make my drug of choice legal. It's about personal freedom. We should have the right in this country to do what we want, if we don't hurt anybody. Seventy-two million people in this country have smoked pot. Eighteen to 20 million in the last year. These people should not be treated as criminals. - Woody Harrelson

  • I think people need to be educated to the fact that marijuana is not a drug. Marijuana is an herb and a flower. God put it here. If He put it here and He wants it to grow, what gives the government the right to say that God is wrong? - Willie Nelson

  • The only effect that I ever noticed from smoking marijuana was a sort of mild sedative, a release of tension when I was overworking. It never made me boisterous or quarrelsome. If anything, it calmed me and reduced my activity. - Robert Mitchum

  • I enjoy smoking cannabis and see no harm in it. - Jennifer Anniston (Supposedly she and Brad Pitt smoked up together prior to meeting with Bill Clinton.)
