The fact if taiwan should try to be independent or unite with china is a tough political question, it depends if you vote for kuomintang or DPP. The only thing that makes china more of a country than taiwan is that they're accepted by other countries... It's kind of weird to say that people in an area are part of your country if a majority of the people there think they are there own country... I think a unification is impossible to that day that china becomes a democracy...
